Use to visit as a child 35yrs ago and figured I would stop in for old time sake. The place has same candy counter and all same candy I remember. A large portion of the candy you can not find in a regular store so was such an experience to be able to buy childhood sweets. The staff was so nice and friendly, even showed me a photo of the original ladies from the days I would shop the glass display of candies. If you want to a breath of fresh air from your past of any decade before...
Cute little store that has candy, treats, ice cream and memorabilia. We got a cribbage board in the shape of Maine made from an old church pew. So special!
Kid-friendliness: The workers were so nice and helpful even though we had no idea what kind of ice cream we wanted. When my son ordered a rootbeer float with mint chocolate chip icecream she did not bat an eye. He loved it I was like no!!!

I can’t believe that this landmark is still there I were here in the late 90s and it was awesome from the photos it looks like the same ladies running the place! Nothing changes in Maine unlike Florida!!
