I saw another review on here about a weight issue and was hesitant to buy.. but at full price, I didn't think there would be a problem. Since I have a food scale, I thought I'd check to see for myself. I should've listened to the review... Just like they mentioned, it didn't even weight 12oz, including the weight of the container and the sauce. The sushi itself only weighed 9.7oz (with bowl and container top tared).
Buyers beware, this company rips you off. Will not be buying again.

hannaford baked good have same size containers but have a big perforation in bottom so they only hold half the amount as they used to. $3.99 for 20oz now they charge $4.99 for 12oz!!! that's sleazy. who does this crap. I mean someone has to say hey we can fool our customers into thinking they getting same amount of product if we make the bottom of container concaved toward the top. then we can charge them. $1 more tell them inflation while ripping us off. inflation isn't 100%!!!! scamming sneaky thieves.

I've gotten their sushi from time to time for over a decade; well before the name change, and have not once had a complaint about the taste.. the weight on the other hand... Well, just look at the pics and see for yourself. Even with the plastic container, pickled ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi, it only weighed 15.4oz. The sushi alone only weighed 12.8oz. This was a dollar fifty off sticker price but weighed 4.2oz less than the label said. Even at full price, it should've been $3 less. So basically, the package said 15% off but in reality I paid 15% more for a whole quarter pound of sushi missing...Response: I'm not looking for a refund or anything, I'm just upset that I overpaid for a misleading label. If the company provides an actual price-per-weight instead of an estimate, I will gladly continue purchasing and change my review. I understand these are hard times for companies and consumers alike, so it would be beneficial to come to an equilibrium. I just want to get what I pay for and nothing more.Thanks for your response
