I go to the Clambake every year during my vacation. I always get the steamers fresh from the ocean. It is sort of self serve. But there is a ton of seating with a large view of the marshland.

Was ok. good vibes with wood and decor. Easy to order but the quantity of yr food was less than expected for the high prices . We did like the dining room decor the best.. animals of Maine & New Hampshire.

A True Maine Seafood Gem!

Clambake Restaurant is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Maine for fresh, delicious seafood done right. Every visit is a treat, and the fried seafood is always a winner — crispy, golden, and full of flavor without being greasy. Whether it’s fried clams, scallops, or haddock, they consistently knock it out of the park.

What makes it even better is the spacious and welcoming atmosphere. There’s plenty of room, making it perfect for bringing friends, family, or even a big group along for a casual, fun dining experience. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back, enjoy good company, and feast on some of the best coastal eats around.

If you're in Maine and craving authentic New England seafood in a laid-back setting, Clambake is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Came to maine to have lobster from out of state. The lobster roll was so tiny and small pieces of lobster. And the smell was terrible. The $ we paid was ridiculous

Easy to find. Right on the marsh. We were able to sit by the window at dusk.
I got the lobster roll with fries.
Good portions on fries and fried mushrooms.

Our favorite seafood restaurant on OOB hands down and especially since they provided a to go tray is a big plus. We went at a beautiful sunset shortly after we were back from our honeymoon. Thanks again for the great fast service.

Cafeteria style and the food tasted like it . And whatever is on the menu is how it's served. I wanted a grilled fish sandwich and they couldn't do it
