Tried this spot for the first time recently and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the maple breakfast sandwich with croissants, bacon, egg, and cheese and it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had a while.

Wanted to stop in either before or after CostCo..finally did (before). Happy that I did, very good bkfast sandwich/latte...little slow on the kitchen output/orders and only few tables and window seating..but still enjoyed...recommended to my son in law on their next CostCo outing.

Best breakfast sammiches around. Cozy little place so suggest taking your food to go but there is some seating. Bennies are delicious. Same people that have always been friendly everytime I've been in there

We stumbled upon St. Joe’s on our way to the Portland Airport. Hands down, the best breakfast sandwiches we’ve ever had! I wish we had taken pictures. They were huge and delicious. One of them could have definitely fed two people. Highly recommend!

Wife and I arrived at nearly noon on a cold, snowy New Year's Day...place packed as always. One guy behind the counter: Wesley. Dude has the best energy, so positive and service was swift. The food... Gluten and dairy free for me...was awesome. The wife's was equally amazing.

Update 2025: Not what it used to be. Imagine my disappointment opening up the sandwich container and finding the grilled buttery biscuit replace with a plain piece of bread. How disappointing, no longer the best breakfast sandwich.
Past Review: Best breakfast sandwiches in the Portland area, and can you believe this I get a “Thank you and have a nice day” after making a purchase. Their coffee good too, Their hot mocha latte is excellent. I would like to see the ice mocha latte improved. I wish they would use chocolate syrup like S. Grounds does in their ice mocha latte, but if I have a choice of having an ice mocha latte with chocolate syrup or dealing with people that appreciate your business. I prefer dealing with the nice people and an owner that appreciate your business. St.Joe's Coffee customer service has been consistently good for me over the last four month and their breakfast sandwiches are fantastic!

I’ve been stopping by this place on and off for the past 5–6 years, hoping each time that the customer service might have improved — unfortunately, it never has. The food itself is really good, but the poor attitude and unhelpfulness of the staff completely ruin the experience. The workers at the counter rarely greet you, seem annoyed when asked simple questions, and make the atmosphere feel downright unwelcoming. It’s honestly one of the most uncomfortable and unfriendly food establishments I’ve been to over the years. It’s a shame, because the food deserves better representation from the people serving it.

First time here. I had the harvest chicken sandwich and it might just be the best sandwich I've ever had. The brownie bite included was a sweet surprise. I'll definitely be back to try something else.
