We recently had two visits. My first meal of fried clams-delicious. On our second visit we had a lobster roll. Stay away from them. Absolutely awful. I’m a Maine gal and this was the worst lobster roll ever. Sterns- you can do better, especially at 38$ !!
We tried this out, and although my lobster roll was really tasty, and so was the bisque, the rest of the food was very hit or miss. Swordfish and lobster were both overcooked and tough, and one of the kids mocktails was pretty much just bitters, lemon juice, and mint. Compared to other places in the area, the prices are the same, but it was just ok and I felt like my money was better spent at some other places. Not horrible, but definitely not my first option compared to others.
We were the first guests of the season this year at Sterns and we will certainly be back! Terrific staff, great menu and the food was DELICIOUS! We ordered the steamed clams and they were fresh, no sand, no crunch. The drinks by Mykaila (Yes-I spelled it wrong) were complimented by the great hospitality of Josh and crew. Definitely going back, don’t miss this one! MUST STOP!!
