Choice is the secret to the success of this restaurant. If you are really hungry, have the pancake (one, but huge) with two eggs, and bacon. If you are more concerned about calories, have the veggie benedict, which is fast becoming my favorite.

We met friends here for breakfast while visiting Portland. The menu has lots of breakfast and lunch options and the prices are very reasonable. Service was great and we all enjoyed what we ordered.

The name change threw us off at first but the breakfast was just as good if not better, a worthwhile trip for sure definitely try the chocolate chip pancakes! First light is a great place to stop!

This was one of the best breakfast meals I've ever had! We did have to wait 20 minutes then when we finally got seated we waited for an additional 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us so that was irritating. It's also expensive, for 3 it was about $55 so couldn't do that too often
