Food was good. But.....different than what we are used to. We are accustomed to veggies with our protein choice. Not a Bad thing but it is not a place to enjoy a sit down meal. Just a storeroom with dinning tables. But for a Hole in the wall restaurant, it is a good place.
***Edit - this review was supposed to be for Empire Chinese Kitchen in Portland, not Wing Lee*** Second time visiting. First time we had a large group (7) and did have to wait about an hour and a half. This time it was just two of us and we came early and were seated right away. Highly recommend the Duck Lo Mein, the bok choy, eggplant and bao buns. Everything we had both visits was fabulous. Great service. We will be back!
I was absolutely amazed at the lady at the register who was doing everything. She was taking phone orders, credit card info , counter orders , putting the food together in bags, and cashing people out to name a few things. She never slowed down and got everything right, which is just amazing. The phone never stopped ringing, and people kept coming in thru out the time I was there ..
