This small, well run, delicious bakery and restaurant is the place the place to stop on the way to Bar Harbor. We stopped on the day they were closing, because of road construction. Any traveler who likes good food, good atmosphere, and a stop that has great kids’ books for diverting children and adults, should not miss this one.

We tried eating here cause it was highly recommended and we are local people, but wait was a little too long so we let them know we were leaving and the manager/ owner came out after us (4 of us) on the roadway and yelled “ that people like us was why we’re closing and for us not to be rude! I’m sorry we might have had an engagement to be at and his RUDENESS does not pay for me to try again at this establishment!

I was told by the server that the corned beef hash was the best in Maine. And she was right! Best I've had! (The potato part of the hash is under the beef.) Excellent all around meal, with over-medium eggs that were perfectly cooked and a good cup of coffee. Plus, it's nice to be in New England where rye toast is always on the menu!

Ok...so it's not often there's an enthusiastic 2 thumbs up for a cafe.....but if you are near this place and you're hungry you should stop and have food and coffee here....the service by Lulu and the other staff was great...the food was terrific as well ....

This restaraunt has delicios food i love the bagel, I like how the bagel had fresh, creamy, and a homade taste to it that was amazing! Our waitress " Sarah" was a very kind waitress and our food was very fast! This coastal food, is stuff you dont find anywhere else!

Closed on Monday and Tuesday. While on vacation found this little gem. They made a great latte and offered almond milk. There are no vegan food options fyi. They have pastries and bagels. No dairy free or vegan pastries. The coffee was wonderful though ?

Based on reviews, we tried this cafe and sometimes I wonder how places can get 5 star reviews, when we have such different experiences. We stopped by for some pastries in the morning. They were very crowded and it was extremely hot inside so I waited outside while my husband ordered to go. The pastries were very bland and tasted like they were possibly not fresh. If you have an extra 30 min, we recommend you go to Dots Market in Lincolnville..

Delicious sandwiches, baked goods, and coffee in this lovely cafe with tin ceilings and wood paneling. The Chicken Provence sandwich on wheat bread in particular was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Friendly staff from start to finish! We stopped on our way home too. Thank you!

Found this great breakfast, lunch and bakery spot and both our meal choices were tasty. Can't speak highly enough about the service here - these amazing women made this stop a treat for us! Highly recommend!
