I had dinner with my family after the holiday here and it was such a treat! Our server was warm and hilarious! The cocktails were out of this world - highly recommend the silly rabbit.
We also shared their pizza, some tacos and the calamari and each dish was full of flavor.
I have to mention how out of this world their key lime pie is, the meringue on top was soft and the perfect, I couldn't stop eating it.
Can't recommend this spot enough if you're visiting or new to the area! Thank you!

Pizza & fries was amazing, fries looks funky but addicting. Some other foods are hit or miss. One of the bartenders was not so great and good service also seemed like a long wait. Over all it was good. Oh and the beer and liquor selection was horrible. Nothing me or my friends liked.

We sat at the bar and Wes was the bartender.. he was pleasant to talk to. Knowledgeable about the different liquors ..
The menu has inventive cocktails with house made syrups and shrubs.
The menu has a little bit of everything so there's something on it for everyone.
The Atmosphere is funky yet warm . It's a very clean environment..
If we're back in that neighborhood we'd 10 out of 10 eat there again

This place is amazing! I had the enchiladas, which were amazing. Even the beans on the side were flavorful. And the woman who waited on us was the correct mixture of sassy, honest, and insightful. I recommend this place heartily!

I’m a local resident and every time I go into this restaurant there always a problem! Either they never received my takeout order, which you can only do it online or the staff is rude and will let you stand waiting to place an order until you finally say something. The third time was a charm though (and this is only because I had a gift card to use and I didn’t want to take the chance of ordering online again). I went in to order a takeout pizza at 7:30 on a Saturday night and I was told they weren’t taking orders because the restaurant was full! I thought that was odd, since it was for takeout. The hostess said I could order but it would take over an hour. I told the hostess that every I’ve come in or tried to order there’s always a problem. The owner was also standing there and did nothing. It’s really too bad it’s so poorly managed. Being a local I would go there and support them, but no more. And quite honestly the food is pricey for what you get and isn’t all that great anyway.

Fresh, delicious Mexican food done properly. What more can you ask for? Fair prices, prompt service, and outstanding food. The carnitas and barbacoa were delicious. From the fresh salsa and seasoned tortilla chips to the burrito with Mole, everything was amazing. Well worth the visit. The quality of this food would be something I’d expect in a big city for twice the price, and it’s awesome that it’s here instead.

I popped in to pick up an order of vegan tacos with Soy Curls (I was so glad to see the place come up when I queried “vegan” for places here!) and was glad to see the order page include a “No Dairy” option.
A band was playing and it looked like only their friends and families may have been the ones there at the moment—I was going to just pick up and return to my motel but decided to pay the $10 cover and support local music, and stayed to eat my meal there.
Vegetarian options: Soy Curls available plus veggie options.
Dietary restrictions: Vegan-friendly!

This place is the bees knees. Ostensibly a Mexican restaurant when it opened, they now also make incredible pizza. The pizza is great. Tacos are great. Posole is perfect when you need a comforting, warming soup. The smash burger is one of the best burgers I've had anywhere. And the fries are addicting. Margaritas are easy-drinking. This place demands multiple visits.

Eclectic menu. Favorite foods include posole (pork based soup), mushroom pizza, cod ceviche, and Korean wings.
Parking: Now that long-term major DoT work on Route 1 in Searsport is over, convenient parking is back — and detours that made it difficult for drivers (and therefore downtown Searsport businesses) — is over, I urge customers (past, present or potential future) to support wonderful businesses like Hey Sailor without fear of traffic/parking inconveniences.

What a rough experience…
I came here for a birthday dinner and walked away frustrated with 200 dollars less in my pocket.
I hope Hey Sailor realizes that their prices should reflect quality, and the cost of one of their meals is far over the median wage a local makes hourly.
A friend ordered the mole enchiladas, and they were AMAZING, absolutely worth the price. But the rest of the food was either cold, extremely salty, or just ehh.
I won’t be returning to this establishment. They aren’t worth the cost.

My husband and I are travelling through the area on our way to New Brunswick. We found many of the area restaurants were closed on Mondays. That was to our advantage, as it turned out! The Sailors Fries at Hey Sailor! were the absolute BEST fries that I’ve ever eaten! I also enjoyed a Gimlet, and the taco was absolutely delicious! Thanks so much for an enjoyable dinner!
