I got the samosa chatt. Its definitely not what I expected. It was cold and only 1 samosa. Its not what I am use to at all. Garlic Naan is also not what I was use to at all.

When I first walked into this place I was very skeptical, as it was lunch time and the place was completely empty. Granted, they could work a little on their service as it is not typically what you would expect in the USA. I cannot understand why people are not flocking to this restaurant though because the food here is awesome! The shawarma wrap was great, and the chicken tikka masala was absolutely spectacular! Very good sized portions, my wife and I left stuffed! Please give this restaurant a chance, I know I will be back!

Food was pretty good for this area of the country. Guess have been spoiled because live where there are many excellent eateries serving food from the same area of the world. Must say that the person behind the counter wasn’t particularly friendly or welcoming and this felt offputting. As if it really didn’t matter whether there were customers of not. A wee bit of elbow grease and some paint would go a long way to improve the feel of the place.

Desi Kitchen was a disappointment on my recent visit. The restaurant was dead, and I stood at the counter waiting for someone to assist me for over five minutes. No one came out front, and all I could hear was loud chatting coming from the back door area. There was no acknowledgement or greeting, which made me feel completely ignored as a customer. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend Desi Kitchen if you’re looking for attentive service or a welcoming atmosphere.

The best Indian food I have EVER had (initially from Illinois). They are always friendly and make food fresh to order. We have always dinned in and never had an issue. The owner definitely takes pride in his cooking and it shows.
