I've never had a bad ice cream, sundae or shake here. Their servings are very large and they have a large menu. I always get something different every time I go. The servers are friendly and don't usually mess up the order, They have a place to eat inside, as well as picnic tables outside, but we usually just eat in our vehicle.

Wow! I’ve never seen more flavors at an ice cream shop! Their portions are very generous - a child’s size is two scoops! I had blueberry, which had actual blueberries in it, and peanut butter swirl, which I haven’t seen in forever, with thick swirls of peanut butter in a vanilla base. Brought me right back to my childhood. We’ll be back!

ALL Ice Cream Shoppe Locations are the very BEST ice cream places in Maine! Best ice cream anyone could ever dream of. Over 40 flavors I bet, all unbelievably decadent, flavor bursting deliciousness!! My favorite?! The Bubblegum Ice Cream ??

Today was my first time going to this shop with my 6 year old son! The pricing was good & the ice cream was also good. The service, not so much. When you go to an ice cream shop, you expect to be met with smiles & enthusiasm that was not my experience. I do have 3 star tattoos on the side of my face & a tattoo on my chest. It's 2024. Lots of people have tattoos. My son was very well behaved & I was wearing a brand new dress. For the life of me, I could not understand why instead of smiles, I got skepticism & and biased reactions from both ladies serving at the windows. There was no warm, bubbly greeting for my beautiful autistic son either. He called them "Grumpy" as we walked away. So it was so obvious that he even noticed something was off. The looks on their faces, the staring, & their demeanor made me so uncomfortable that I considered leaving before ordering. My feelings were definitely hurt & after I came home to look at myself in the mirror. I looked beautiful. I wish I could read their minds because they made me feel the complete opposite.. I probably will not return due to their discrimatory demeanor. If anyone else has this experience I strongly suggest asking for a manager or the owner so that maybe, just maybe people that look a little "rough around the edges" or different never have to feel the way I did today. Thank you & I hope this review meets eyes that have the power to make a difference or suggest sensitivity training.
