We used to love coming to Ken’s, excellent service and great food at a value. Our last few visits were disappointing. On our last visit my scallops dry and unappetizing. Maybe I should have ordered them fried as that seems to be most common at Ken’s. This past visit we ordered the prime rib. I don’t mind paying an extra $3 for a side salad but the salads appear smaller (half of a salad bowl) and consisted of lettuce, onion and cucumber. Not so much as a tomato. I’ve never seen a thinner or smaller cut of prime rib as the one I received and there was as much fat as there was beef. Also, why don’t they offer horseradish with the prime rib? The concoction of horseradish watered down with sour cream is not appealing. No, I didn’t bring it to the manager’s attention because what could they do? Make my salad and prime rib cut bigger? As always the service was excellent but we will not be returning. I would like to add that there were many heaping platters of fried food being served so perhaps that is the way to go when dining at Ken’s.

Go for the food and the service. If you need atmosphere greater Skowhegan isn’t for you. Loved the seafood options. Clams are excellent! Clearly an area favorite given the level of traffic and take out.

I do love Ken's, the staff is usually great the atmosphere is good, you might have to wait but the food is usually woth it. I have to say I miss the old tables and fish tanks, but I do understand things must change. I have only one complaint there seafood witch I love has been a lower quality ? .

Parking: There's a huge parking lot lots of room

Kid-friendliness: They have a good kids menu too.

Worst lunch...
Medium burger no tomato served well done and not as ordered. Beef tastes cheap and the service is lacking in friendliness but very present.
Overall disappointment and not recommended.
