I went to Maine during the Thanksgiving week and was invited to dinner at La Fogata restaurant, in Skowhegan, Maine. I am very familiar with authentic Mexican food, and let me tell you, La Fogata did not disappoint! Their food tasted and looked homemade. I had my favorite, which are the Flautas de pollo. The La Fogata was the size of a small animal. Despite the size, it was a tight meal with very distinct flavors throughout the dish. I've had numerous other dishes since and all have been excellent. Friendly staff, too.
I love this place so much! My husband and I eat here every week, whether it’s takeout or dine in. The food is such great quality and always tastes amazing. We always leave with smiles on our faces. The service is perfect as well, we haven’t had any problems with the staff. The price of the food is also a great deal for how good of quality the food is. I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes authentic Mexican food
