Ordered takeout tonight and got home and opened the rice and dished it out on our plates along with our sides… I thought it smelted funny but I thought maybe it was just the dumplings as we were trying those from here for the first time tonight… I was still smelling a very sour odor from the rice and again thinking it may had just been the dumplings I tried a bite of the rice and nope it was bad. Called the restaurant and they told me they don’t usually do refunds but they could do a fresh order of rice, or a credit but she would have to talk to the manager. I just wanted my money back after that because I was not going to risk it. She put me on hold then after a minute picked the phone and the manager said the same thing. I have heard similar stories from other people but we’ve never had anything bad from them and we’ve been faithful customers for years. That’s just asking for food poisioning and the fact that they do not do a refund on something bad that THEY let go through the door is not a good way to run a business. Now that I’ve experienced this with them I would highly recommend people not take their chances here because the one time you get something bad your just wasting your money, because they do not want to take accountability and give someone back their money.
The food has amazing flavor :)

Food is ALWAYS excellent, but I feel more Chinese restaurants need to start putting money back into their buildings. New carpet, maybe new paint on the walls...and bring back fortune cookies!

This used to be the best place ever... haven't been for 2yrs as on vacation... something definitely changed.. won ton soup was yuck...mom hot and sour was a negative for her...rangooons were way over cooked to hard not crunchy....the noodles had an odd flavor all their own...the drink was mediocre at best...and to top it off...the waiter was sweating everywhere...oh and almost forgot...had to send 2 plates out of 3 back because they were sticky with spots...guess we will drive the extra 5 miles to dover foxcroft...Hopefully they are still delicious 😋

The noodles in the lo mein were mushy and the veggies were mushy also. The eggrolls tasted stale the pork was barely cooked enough. Sad because it used to be our favorite place to go

we tried this place for the first time tonight not only was the portion sizes terrible but they shorted us our order of chicken wings. instead of offering a refund or to give us the missing order they told me to bring everything back for a refund. I had explained I was trying to feed my kids dinner we have already had a long day and that I just wanted my wings but the owner didn't care to fix it and just wanted the food back instead. he also told me it was my fault that I didn't check before leaving even tho I've worked in restaurants my entire life and have always checked for the customer because that was my job. terrible place terrible customer service. would rather take the drive to Dover
The food is pretty decent. Prices reflect portions & quality. Over the years I have had a few minor unsatisfactory events. We have 2 other Chinese Restaurants to choose from. Each one is good and bad. Mei Lee Garden seems best overall.

Was not impressed with the food. Portions are huge for a lunch plate, but my mom's chicken Teriyaki was way over cooked and she couldn't even bite it. My Broccoli and Chicken was just ok. The chicken was tender, broccoli was crispy, but the sauce was all congealed after a couple min and I could not eat it.

Very warm inside on a hot day outside. No cooling relief for a late lunch.

I ordered take out. Chicken fingers and veggie fried rice.
The fingers were cooked so firm that I couldn’t bite into them.
Veggie fried rice had huge chunks that needed to be cut to eat.
I spent 25$ on that mess. Do better. With the cost of things growing go out of your way and be exceptional.
