My husband & I were passing through Skowhegan for the night and stopped in at Snack shack for breakfast. The food was absolutely great — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The staff was awesome as well: friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. You can tell they take pride in both the food and the service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Just got back from our first and definitely not last trip to the snack shack in Skowhegan ME. The staff was friendly and food came out promptly. This was the BEST seafood dinner I've had in 20years. I ordered the pick 2 clam bellies and scallops with fries. Everything was extremely fresh and delicious! The oil used you could tell was clean, the clam bellies were clean, the scallops were tender and even the fries were delicious!! We will definitely back to try more things......
It was ok. The portions were small for central Maine. Ordered a buffalo chicken wrap for myself and a snack basket of chicken fingers for my other half. What was lacking in Buffalo Chicken in the wrap was made up for with lettuce... chicken was lacking; lettuce was to much. Over all it was run of the mill. Chicken fingers we're chicken tenders. Those and the fried were ok too. They definitely weren't bad.
