The family that runs this campground is extremely friendly and gracious. A couple of the previous reviews are extremely incorrect..however, I'm sure huge groups of party-goers would be discouraging. If the owners were not upset by it, other guests would be.
TOP rate campground! I love to bring my family up as often as I can, not so much to camp (although I do like to do that here, as well) but to have breakfast on the weekends, and to bring my grandson up to just fish along the banks of the Kennebec River.

Small campground on the river.... fly fishing mecca! Something for everyone.... quiet nights and they are working on upgrading the electric, currently 20amps. No A/C for rv's right now....bathroom was adequate. Dinners and breakfast buffet on weekends, excellent!
