Good variety of local seafood, helpful staff, gifts and necessities.
Everything,we go down every summer. Best place to get lobster ever…….
More expensive than osiers
Amazing service, incredible lobsters!!
Great food, good prices, great atmosphere and personal service. Highly recommended.
This place is truly awesome! We rented a house in the area and happened upon this local spot and based on the positive reviews, decided to give it a try. The staff is SO friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. We sat on the dock to eat and watched as multiple boats stopped to delivered fresh lobster. It doesn’t get better than that! The oysters were also delicious and freshly shucked for us. We took our two young kids with us and the staff made it fun for them and let them pick the lobsters from the tank to be steamed and then the kids loved watching all the boats and fisherman coming and going and the lobsters being delivered and weighed on the working dock, and you certainly can’t beat the prices!!
Good price and amazing service. Thanks!
Went in to buy lobster and soda. I was there approximately 10-15 minutes and was ignored by all three people, including the man putting more lobsters in the tanks. Then there was no one in the store or anywhere to be found. Zero stars for customer service.
This was by far the best place that we have been for lobsters and clams. Very friendly, helpful, and the prices are great!!! We will definitely be coming back over and over again. Quiet little town far away from the tourists.
Best co op in maine

South Bristol Fishermans Coop is as straightforward as it gets: great, fresh lobster, low prices, no frills. As good as the lobster and clams are, this is admittedly not for everyone. Picnic tables on a working dock may not be everyone's taste, but it was authentic and delicious as it gets. We would advise checking the hours: they close on the early side. We also learned that the day of our visit was the last day they would cook our lobsters for the season. The staff was friendly, the facilities clean. They let us pick our own lobsters and steamers, then cooked them up for us. We were provided with lobster crackers and a roll of paper towels. We brought our own wine and glasses, and, in the likelihood we come back, we'll bring lobster picks. I might also bring along some handy wipes. South Bristol Fishermans Wharf is a genuine treat, not to be missed.
fast courteous service. my husband said the lobster was cooked perfectly
Astoundingly delicious lobster roll - best ever.
Incredibly fresh seafood at reasonable prices.
If you're looking for fresh Maine seafood you can't do better. Best to buy live and cook at home, but you can eat there.
