We just stopped in for drinks after having lunch at Beal’s and a hike, and it was so nice! The drinks were so good, the bartender was very friendly and the views were outstanding. Already on our places to visit for next time we are in the area for lunch.
My wife and I have been eating lunch at the Fish Camp Sept. 8, 2023. I am writing this review because my wife was very disappointed with the lobster roll she was served. After eating lobster rolls in dozen and dozen of restaurants from Kennepunkport to Bar Harbor, she was displeased by the small portion of lobster served in her roll. At least 50% less than what is served in the other restaurants. This displeased her very much considering that the price of the lobster roll is $36....
Perfect in every way - loved all the decorating details, gorgeous grounds, flowers and plantings. I even spoke with the lead grounds keeper about the plantings she is so proud of. The Little Fern room is so beautiful and the food was extrordinary. Harry's bar is so cozy and the bartender is amazing. Every staff member made a point to say hello as you passed them. The waiters and bartenders at Batson Fish camp were awesome. If you need a peaceful break it is here at The Claremont....
