Stopped in to have drinks and appetizers. Wonderful service. The onion dip appetizer was a winner.

Delightful! Don’t miss when visiting Southwest Harbor. The food was amazing and the staff were friendly and engaging. Cool funky vibe in this cozy, artistic space (check out the wood cuts by AC Kulik). If available try the ginger apple bourbon its Fall in a glass. Seating is limited so get there early.

The world needs more restaurants like Harbor Table. Warm inviting atmosphere, kind and gracious servers, delicious food.

I hate soup. Not a fan. Wife wanted to split the chicken noodle soup and I reluctantly agreed. The worst part was having to admit to my wife that the soup was delicious. I think I ate more than my half. We then split the Linguica Bolognese and Pesto and Shells.

Beginning to end this was our best meal on our trip from Boston to Bar Harbor. I loved seeing all the local farms, mills, and suppliers.

You’d be making a huge mistake not eating here if you’re in the area.

The team of people who work here hustle and care about their customers. The food was great too. We shared a salad and dinner and it was plenty.

It's a different kind of restaurant than many you'd find in the area. Maybe a bit of a wait, but it's for a good reason. Whatever they are doing here, they are doing it very, very well.

Our dinner was one of the best we’ve had in Maine. Dave, the chef,
was excellent! The entire staff would above and beyond in terms ofService. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We’d just settled into our campsite at Smugglers Den & decided to dine nearby. Reading the reviews I quickly settled on Harbor Table & are we ever happy we did!
Nicki welcomed us, immediately intuited that we’d be most comfortable at a table as I travel with a small service dog. Our server Laura advised us on how much food to order (we shared a half Caesar salad and the burger and it was the perfect amount) and I enjoyed a perfectly crafted muddled old fashioned. EVERYTHING was completely on point: the music, the ambiance, the vibe, the service, and THE FOOD!?! Absolutely amazing. Best wishes for fabulous things to come for this lovely couple.

AMAZING restaurant! We ordered out but went in to pick up and the atmosphere was soooo nice and amazing, it already gave an incentive to go back. Then the staff was phenomenal. Kind, accommodated our food allergy with no question, allowed us to order pickup even though the restaurant was busy, AND brought our food out to our car after we had to wait a bit. Soooo incredible. AND THE FOOD WAS JUST AS GREAT. Got the cutlet and it was delicious. Have been here for 5 days and ate out for every meal, and this is by far my favorite meal yet. THANK YOU to the staff :) <3

Absolutely fantastic food, service and atmosphere!! They used the space they have amazingly well. They didn't pack every open millimeter with tables and they let the space breathe, which along with the fantastic decoration and great (but not too loud) music made the experience of just being in the restaurant amazing! The staff were on top of everything and exceptionally friendly, never overbearing but also never too far away. And that's all before we get to the food. We had the onion dip, the Bolognese, and the meatballs+shells and everything was delicious, it was like having your own Italian grandmother for the night! Would definitely recommend and I hope I get to come back again!!

My husband, Kingston, and I and another had the wonderful pleasure of eating at this restaurant. The food was topnotch, service was great, and atmosphere wonderful. Coming from Louisiana where we're quite proud of our cuisine, this was simply delicious. It was worth the time we had to wait which for a Friday evening was not long.

In a 5 night trip to Acadia this past August where we stayed in Southwest Harbor we ate at Harbor Table 3 times - I have never returned on the same vacation to the same restaurant for dinner multiple times but David and Nikki's restaurant is a cut above the rest. I grew up in NYC and now live in Boston but have spent time living in Albany and visiting Buffalo - my absolute favorite part of Albany and Buffalo was hands down finding restaurants where the owners actually work in their restaurant, know their regulars and spend time getting to know new customers, deliver five star quality food, bonus points for farm to table, and where you can see they treat the rest of their staff as family - a rare combination I have never found in NYC or Boston. Harbor Table did not disappoint on the 5 star locally sourced food with small town charm and hospitality in a chic but inviting atmosphere.

The real caesar salad with an abundance of anchovies was so good I ate it twice and have now been ruined for all other caesar salads. The crispy kale, heirloom tomato, local feta, and puffed quinoa salad was another standout. Their biergarten out back (Harbor Yard) was a great place to hangout, play some board games, and enjoy much need refueling after a long day of hiking - the pretzel with Bavarian cheese dip was so good I packed up the rest of the cheese dip to bring home. Their homemade pastas were cooked to perfection and both the pesto and the bolognese brought me back to my days studying abroad in Italy. Rounding out the meal was a top notch selection of wines, homemade limoncello, and expertly crafted cocktails - the Acadia blueberry gin is a must try.

Do yourself a favor, stay in the quaint non-touristy town of Southwest Harbor and eat a meal or three at Harbor Table.
