Very tasty food - everything delicious. Very pricey but it was good. But for a supposedly high end place it’s more like a cafeteria. No table cloths and Formica tables. Staff very casual. They forgot our drink order and had to be reminded.

As always a lovely setting and excellent meal. Disappointed that there was no fish on the menu, odd for an ocean resort.

The servers and especially the bartender were super nice. They made the vegetarian food into vegan for me with no problem and my partner's steak was perfectly done.

Breakfast/Brunch at the Little Fern is memorable. Plated beautifully with fresh ingredients. Left me wanting more?

Ordered the orange zest pancakes. Fluffy and subtle orange flavor with vanilla bourbon compounded butter & local maple syrup. The omelette was perfect, tender & fluffy. The bacon is also worth noting, thick cut and crispy perfection. Top notch all around with fantastic views & service.

An annual tradition for us — and happily so since its reopening. Exceptional food, exceptional service, exceptional setting. Not inexpensive, but worth advanced planning for a reservation in season. Acadia tradition meets modern excellence.

We had an exceptional experience at Little Fern Restaurant. Our meal included the beet salad, pork belly, tartare, ribeye, and carrot cake, and everything was absolutely delicious. The beet salad and pork belly were particular standouts for me. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and paired with a very tasty baked potato. The au jus was a delightful addition to the ribeye.

The view from the restaurant was incredible, and the hotel's charming ambiance added to the wonderful dining experience. The staff were so kind and attentive throughout our meal.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the carrot cake. The combination of cinnamon mousse, crystallized ginger, and toasted coconut was delicious. It might be the best carrot cake we’ve ever had.

We almost passed on this restaurant due to some mixed reviews, but we are so glad we gave it a try. Little Fern is a gem, and we highly recommend giving it a go. We can't wait to return in the future!

Food was absolutely delish but had issue with seating. We had a 5pm reservation for our anniversary and when we got there there was only one other couple in the whole place. I requested a place by a window - excellent view btw- and the hostess told me it was impossible… well but then of course it wasn’t…turns out the other couple also had the exact same issue. Might need a little more staff training. Really nice (and expensive) restaurant should have been seamless service.

A fine dining experience was recommended to us at the Claremont Hotel. We showed up for our reservation and the host sat us at a two-person table between two other two-person tables. This is a very nicely decorated restaurant, and I was glad we dressed for the occasion. I was surprised that one of the people sitting next to us was in a hoodie, but you never know where they were coming from before getting dinner. It's a national park, after all. It was immediately obvious that the menu was different from what was online. The strongest selling factor was the whole lobster that was on the sample menu. We ordered a couple of drinks and a delicious shrimp appetizer, which we raved at how good it was. We decided on different main courses. I ordered steak and my partner ordered a seafood medley. When they arrived, the seafood medley had pasta, which my partner missed in the description, and couldn't eat. He told the waiter this, and the manager quickly came over and offered to get him a different dish. So he ordered salmon. I started eating my meal since it was getting cold. His meal didn't come out until after I was finished (I guess this was to be expected). I did tell the waiter that it's less than ideal that we're eating separately. It just wasn't our expectation. That all said, both meals were delicious! We ordered a second round of drinks and asked for the check. The bill was over $200, so my partner asked if they had charged for the first dish or given any sort of discount. I told him that they didn't charge us for the first dish, but there also wasn't any sort of discount. That's when things really took a turn. The man in the hoodie next to us turned to my partner and told him that he "had enough". This was "his restaurant" and he didn't want us to say anything bad about it. I told him he was rude for engaging in our conversation and asked if he was really the owner. He said he was and told us to leave. He wouldn't even let me pay the check, though I fully intended to pay. I've never been treated so poorly. This man made me feel like a criminal. If he really was the manager and felt the need to listen to our conversations, he should have stepped in and helped with the situation instead of making it our worst experience ever. The food was an A+. The service was a solid B. The "owner" was an F-.

This place is so cozy and beautiful, the food and drinks were incredible, and the employees were so kind.My only note is the service was pretty slow, we were there for over 2 hours so make sure you have plenty of time to enjoy :)
