Best dinner of our trip! The chef was out chatting with diners, the bartender was kind, and the food was delicious!! Get the chocolate pudding- it’s worth saving room for.
By far the best meal we had on the island… definitely one of the best meals ever period. From the service to the homemade table bread (which by itself was off the charts amazing) this was a world class experience in a cozy setting. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you for a delicious meal!

My wife and I had a great evening dining experience at Red Sky. The food was excellent and the service was first class. Our host was kind enough to give us a reservation for the next day and she accepted to put us at a very nice table by the window. I really recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Southwest Harbor. You will have a great time 👍🏼 (take the time to call and reserve in advance, as the dining room is fairly small).
Just had our last meal while on vacation and decided to try Red Sky. What a disappointment. Husband had the lobster risotto, came out all soupy on his plate and lacked serious flavor. I had the ribs, worse ever! I swear it tasted like pork gravy was poured over top of them. We have been here for over a week and every restaurant we’ve been too has impressed us except this one. I should have went back to Cafe Drydock, they have the BEST risotto in town. Go there and stay clear of this place!! Koodos to the bartender, only good thing was the drinks!

The food and service were excellent. It was probably the best meal and experience we had on our entire trip to Maine.

Booked a reservation at this place on a whim and what a surprise. Everything about it—food, service, and ambiance — was first rate. Far better than I thought I had any right to expect in a little place in Southwest Harbor Maine. You could drop this place with the staff they have in Manhattan and they’d hold their own. And while everything is good: get the duck breast.

Lobsters risotto a big disappointment. Pasta dish fair. Service staff was good and friendly. My only visit, so read the other reviews, too.

Not sure what the deal is on this place. We had 8pm reservations and arrived 5 min early and they told us to wait outside even though there were tables available. We were then informed that their signature dish - lobster risotto was not an option. Apparently they were sold out of their most popular dish. We compromised with the cod. At 9:19, out fish finally arrived and it was bland. We quickly ate and got out of there. $200 later. Not recommended !!

We were looking for a dog friendly restaurant after a day in the park . We were a little grubby from hiking and fishing but they had a lovely backyard seating area with a great menu. Our waitress asked if they could give our dog treats and yes of course ( I was thinking milk bones ) no it was duck tidbits and steak tidbits in a little bowl . Taco was in heaven . Our meals were incredible - I had homemade pasta with smoked salmon and my husband had the filet. Everything was top notch from the homemade sourdough to salad and the entrees were delicious and filling. The service was great , atmosphere quaint and lovely , and of course the welcomed our dog Taco! I definitely recommend this furry friend or no furry friend !!!

Hidden gem on quieter side of Acadia. Our party of six had a great all around experience!

Can’t say enough fantastic things about this restaurant and the staff. This dinner was definitely the standout of all our meals from our trip to Maine. James personally came over to our table to go through our food allergies which was so appreciated. Really kind, lovely people and a great establishment. The care for the food and the customer really shines through. Highlights include the ribs, lobster risotto, lamb, mussels, and scallops. All the best and love from NYC!

Our first night in Maine we were referred to Red Sky for dinner. Thankfully we were able to get a reservation last minute. Our dining experience was absolutely fantastic. The staff are beyond professional and courteous while the atmosphere is unique. Oddly enough, you feel like you might be dining in a different country just based on the European vibes. The food was absolutely spectacular, highly recommend the mussels starter and the lobster risotto. 10/10
