Every dish was delicious. Especially liked the lobster risotto.
My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Red Sky last night. The pale yellow walls highlight colorful paintings by local artists, creating a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere. Diners ranged from casually dressed to more formal. We enjoyed excellent martinis, delicious appetizers, and a perfectly prepared main course—followed by a dessert we couldn’t resist. The flavors, featuring local ingredients, were outstanding. Service was impeccable—attentive without hovering. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended!
One of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had! We came in at opening with our infant daughter and was welcomed immediately. The chef brought her a carrot to chew on, and the entire staff was pleasant and attentive to us and our daughter. The food was delicious and could tell was made with passion. Highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience
One of the top three meals I've ever had. Everything was perfect. The lobster and risotto was wonderful, from the presentation to the cook on the lobster and asparagus, to the sauce. We then had the gingerbread with vanilla ice cream and the creme brulee with the Tokaji dessert wine. My god were they good. Our server, Diana, was also fantastic in that she was warm, open, gave her honest opinions, and was able to give recommendations based on our preferences (and was spot on). Lastly, the champagne cocktail was delicious. Their cocktail menu is not trying to show off, and they make sure that what they serve is good and high quality.
Everything was fantastic. Make sure to get a reservation beforehand.
Wow! This place is incredible. Great cocktails, great appetizers, and the food is amazing. Service is fantastic, atmosphere is classy casual.
One of the best restaurants for many reasons. It’s a husband and wife team, helped by other great people on the staff. The food is delicious and interesting, it’s truly a fine dining experience set in a simple, friendly and cozy atmosphere. The owners are amazing people, we ended up having a great conversation. Highly recommended!
Great spot! Loved the mussels. Lovely staff. Charming vide.
Delicious food and good service, save room for the cream brûlée, mussels are 5 stars

You are not going to be disappointed eating here.
Local quality products.
I am a real foodie and a very good cook with a son who is a chef. I'd like to praise the chef and kitchen staff as well.

Our host (AirBnB) in Bar Harbor recommended Red Sky to us. After a long day in Acadia National Park, we were hungry in the evening and drove to Red Sky. We received a very friendly welcome and were able to get a table for two people. The restaurant was busy and it is advisable to reserve a table in advance. The menu offers a good selection, our choice was based on salmon and seafood ?. We didn't have to wait long for our food and it was delicious!! The service was very attentive and friendly. We felt completely comfortable and, after a final dessert, we drove back to Bar Harbor satisfied. We can highly recommend Red Sky.

Started off on the wrong foot when they claimed we had canceled our reservation when in actuality we had confirmed it. More than an hour passed between the delivery of our salads and our entrees. One of the entrees was good (chicken), one was absolutely tasteless (pasta). Nice enough atmosphere but not worth the interminable wait.

Overall, I'd say Red Sky is priced as a great restaurant, but the experience isn't quite commensurate.
We ordered a bottle of wine, brussels sprouts and mussels for appetizers, and a burger (needed a break from seafood) and fresh sole for dinner. Everything was good, but nothing was really impressive. Again, it just missed the mark from a value perspective. We paid about $140 (~$35 bottle of wine), before tip and it felt the total should have been closer to like $110-$120. The burger was ~$25, it was fine, but I definitely have had better burgers for $15 - chalk it up to the location I guess.
Service was good, my only complaint on that front was that it was probably close to 45 minutes between appetizers being delivered and entrees being served. By the time our entrees were served, we had finished our wine and had been waiting for close to 30 minutes; not great, and none of the servers said anything to us during that time.

We had an amazing vegetarian experience here! Thanks for making some of the dishes vegan! The food, staff, and atmosphere were wonderful! We do hope they will consider adding more vegan proteins to the menu. Thanks again for a terrific experience ?

We visited here on a weekend trip up from our home in Maine to celebrate our Anniversary and we thought the staff was very nice atmosphere was nice however the lollipop Lamb chops were raw, the salad was decent and our main dinner the lobster risotto was terrible, the risotto was over cooked and the portion size the absolutely ridiculous for $49.00, the desert was very good but we would never go back or recommend this restuarant based on our experience.
Also what was somewhat annoying was we were continually asked if they could take our bread from the table that they delivered and could see that there was still bread in there and that we just wanted to take our time and eat it. We didn’t want to eat everything in 30 seconds.
This was an anniversary dinner that my wife and I went out to have an unknown to my wife and I we had a very good friend of ours. Call the restaurant and pay ahead for our dinner so I don’t know exactly how much the dinner cost other than what we saw on the menu.
Probably should have did our due diligence instead of looking at the overall rating review, but go through all these reviews as I did now and you can see that there’s typical complaints of the food being cold service not being so well which we did experience at the service was wonderful But definitely very expensive for the portions that you get.
I know that the owner commented below, but I’ll just say to her we didn’t really want to complain while we were there that for $18 you get two lollipop veal chops which again came out completely raw and the risotto again was just not good at all, there was zero taste to it. We had a very small little lobster tail that was on top of it and a couple of small baby Claws of lobster And to charge what they did for that small portion of food was just ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous and again the owner said in the comment below the $43 lobster risotto which I’m not sure where she saw that but it’s on her menu at $49. That’s what we were charged and I just double and triple checked her menu again and it states $49 so apparently she doesn’t know the pricing that she’s charging for the lobster risotto.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. We stumbled upon it and ended up coming twice in our 5 days here in Southwest Harbor. Between the atmosphere, the cuisine, and the service—it’s truly a gem. The menu is seasonal and creative, the presentation is beautiful, and the food is stuff to write home about. The service was above and beyond—my brother had autism and they were so accommodating, even on a holiday. The staff is professional, while also giving you a small town local feel. You’ll find regulars at the bar dining, and tourists filling the dining room and backyard patios. Get your reservations booked, you won’t be disappointed!
