“Friday night specials and drinks were great. Different than you would find elsewhere in down east Maine. Our drinks were always full, we left full without much to take home, and the service was friendly and on point. Great job at this unique restaurant and sports bar! Next time we are in the area this is where we’ll be eating!“

“I stayed around the corner at Joey's AIRBNB (also 5 Stars, built in sauna was clutch after hikes).As a jersey guy, I like my simple diner foods including, but not limited to, burgers. Joey, being a jersey guy as well, cooks up a hell of a burger and the other essentials such as wings and pulled pork.His staff was also wonderful and attentive. In addition, in consideration of the current pandemic, he made sure that there was ample outdoor seating.I highly recommend stopping here if you are into good, solid, reliable food and drinks.“

“This place is a MUST! Over the week we have been in Bar Harbor we have ate at A LOT of places, Tap & Barrel is hands the best meal I’ve had here by a long shot. Marina was super knowledgeable and gave 15/10 service! You will not regret stopping here and grabbing a bite to eat or even just some drinks!“
