Have been going here for years. A nonprofit soup kitchen that offers a very basic breakfast of oatmeal and some of the best popovers you'll ever eat!! You pay what you believe the food is worth, but remember they are helping to feed 140 families each week. They provide very unique entertainment from local seniors who play and sing a wide variety of music. Definitely worth the experience!!
What a blessing. We made a donation but you don't have to... Too many people struggle to feed themselves but organisations such as these and their generous donors help them out. The staff are wonderfully welcoming and Jay went out of his way. Legend. Plus the food is really good given the context.
This place is doing absolutely beautiful things for this community. We had heard about it on one of the MDI pages. My husband and I wanted to check out the popovers but what we walked away with was so much more. We were welcomed in by the volunteers, given directions on how it all worked, and were able to have some incredible popovers while listening to music. We returned our last morning on island with our entire family, including our two dogs and enjoyed popovers as we sung...
