The food was okay at best. The fried fish and flatbreads were good. The fried clams were under cooked. The coleslaw lacked flavor and the toast with the seafood bake was over seasoned.

Service was good. Drink refills were slow. The place was clean.

They have a fantastic view.

The food was just okay, nothing special. Service was very slow- which is understandable as most places are understaffed. The 1 star review is due to the manager/owner's attitude and rude service. We simply asked for our check after we had not seen our waitress for a very long time and she was extremely rude and passive aggressive.

Awesome place. Nice friendly staff. Food came quickly, and the drinks were great.

Food was good! My husband enjoyed his lobster but very much. My lobster was boiled in salt water and think they brought half the water inside the lobster. Lobster was good but would have been a 5 if Steamed. 2 out of 4 chairs were sun/weather rotted on the edge. 😳

Absolutely amazing service and food. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Everyone working there was so personable and funny. We called an hour and a half before they closed because the restaurant we planned to go to had closed due to rain. They were able to accommodate our group of 15 in the time it took us to drive there (10 minutes!). And they were busy, so it wasn’t like they had a lull. When we arrived, the table was ready. Our server, Lana, was possibly the best waitress I’ve ever had. She made sure my cousin’s 1 year old got his food right away to keep him occupied. They accommodated my other cousins that both have gluten allergies. She was attentive to get us our drinks whenever we needed a refill. The food arrived steaming hot and all at the same time, which is so impressive for serving 15 people. Kudos to the chef! The owner’s checked in on our table to make sure we were pleased with our service. Prices were very comparable to other locations in this area. My one recommendation is if you get the lobster roll, make sure to request whether you want cold or warm (served cold if you don’t specify). I will come to this restaurant anytime I come to Bar Harbor.

Food was extremely sub-par. Prices are also DIFFERENT online. More expensive on the menu in person. That was aggravating. Some staff was rude and unprofessional, not the waitress - she was great. You pay for the view and nothing else.
