This is by far the best place to bring the whole family. The outpost scoop shoppe is certainly not lacking flavor in both soft serve and hard serve. Not to mention the are always keeping the menu different and exciting.

Every time we've visited Outpost we've been very happy with their service and selection. The six small scoops in the ice cream flight is such an awesome way to try multiple flavors or share it with someone. During our latest visit there were a couple folks who couldn't decide and the employee did a great job making the decision for them based on what they were looking for. I know we'll be back!
Dietary restrictions: They seem to be great at working with gluten allergies as long as you ask. They use a separate scoop for celiacs based on a conversation I've had with them.

This ice cream shop has quickly become my favorite. The flavors are delicious (banana pudding is exceptional and banana is never my first choice). Their specialty items are brilliant (ice cream nachos, sampler flight!!!) and they have non-dairy options too which is nice for those that need them. Their prices are more than reasonable for the serving size. The girls are friendly behind the window and the wait time is minimal, even when they're packed.
This is a 35 minute drive from my house and I pass 2-3 other shops on my way, but still find myself here more often than visiting any other stand. Plus, the punch card is an added bonus!
*I was dairy free for a while recently and got the chocolate chunk and raspberry flavors and they were creamier than I expected for dairy-free and delicious. These flavors are pictured. Yum!

Cute place. First flavor asked for they were working on the machine and it was not available the second flavor same thing. So we went with basic vanilla soft serve on a sugar cone. The young girl said she could not put soft serve on a sugar cone but could put it in a cup with the sugar cone on top, great we will take that. Well what we got was soft serve on a regular “broken” cone. The second order was cookie dough on a sugar cone. The ice cream was old and had many ice chucks in it and the cone was soft and stale. Not a place we would go back to.

Went on 4th or July with a large group and the service was excellent but the ice cream was even better!!!! So many flavors were tried and everyone raved about what they got ? we will be back!

Went to the Scoop Shoppe for the first time today and it was amazing! The service was wonderful! The two women who were working the counter were very cheerful and happy to be there. They were very professional and had great personalities. I highly recommend this place to everyone in the area. Steep Falls is lucky to have a business like this and the business is lucky to have the wonderful employees it has. We will certainly be back very soon!
