Carinna was very unpleasant and wasn’t even the one making my food. She gave attitude to the other person working there for really no reason. The wait was forever and I feel like you can guess who I’m about to say was the reason for that.

On 12SEPT25, I patronized the Standish Subway and it was excellent. The food was excellent and the Service was timely, efficient, and courteous. The dining area, table tops, and floor were all clean. Thank you. This Subway location is the best out of all of them in the Greater Portland area. I have been to all the other locations and those suck. The Scarborough location the Staff is intimidating, rude, cannot understand English, over charge, and try to sell other items other than what you ordered. The Gorham location if you order and pay online will cheat you and say you did not order anything but will not refund you your money. The Staff there lies, are intimidating, and does not understand English. The Westbrook location always is out of what you want to order. The Staff there too is intimidating. The Portland locations, Pride's Corner, and a little further North on 302 to Windham, the Staff at both these locations are intimidating, like they are doing you a favor. The Falmouth location the Staff there too does not understand English, and are doing you a favor by taking your order. I will not go to these locations ever again. The Standish location is my last stand. If they ever fail, I am out of luck. So far, they are exceptional. I have to travel from South Portland to dine there. However, for me, it is always worth the trip. Remember, this is Fast Food dining. If you want better then go to the Regency Hotel Restaurant on Milk Street in Portland. That will set you Back $200.00 to $300.00 for one person vs. $15.00 for Standish Subway. How much do you want to pay? I prefer paying $15.00 vs. $300.00 for eating out. If I could give Zero stars I would. This will be the last time that I order from the Standish Subway! I placed my via their web app and got notification that it was done. Arrived to pick it up - order had not even been started and waited almost an hour for two sandwiches and a salad. To top it off, the salad I ordered with no dressing was swimming in Italian dressing! Never again!!

Just went in for a salad and had to deal with an extremely rude employee. I asked for the salad and she said what kind, I said can I make my own, she then raised her voice and said yeah I said what kind. Extremely rude and off putting! Wouldn’t recommend this subway if you don’t want any sort of customer service!

Over 25 min from walk-in time to leaving. Short staffed during lunch. 2 people - both new, one coordinationally challenged, fumbled endlessly making the 2 sandwiches, and that was after he asked twice what the sandwiches were, after I told him initially. Sandwiches were sloppily made. No way I would ever go back - save your money, and time.

I was told that they weren't taking in-store orders because of being so backed up with online and phone orders.
Placed an online order on a Thursday night at 6pm went to pick it up and the door were locked and they were closed. Didn’t even get my money back.
Wish I could give it zero stars. Placed my order online. The order was not ready when I arrived. I was told there's a problem with their POS and they would take 10 or 15 minutes and make my three sandwiches. Other people walked in and someone began making their sandwiches. The person who was to make my sandwiches put his gloves on grabed his cell phone and began taking a screenshot of the order so he can make my sandwich. Now I don't know about you but I don't want to eat a sandwich where they handle their cell phone and then handle my food so I spoke up. I was told that this is how they had to make our order with their cell phone in the hand while wearing plastic food safe gloves. I spoke my mind and said that was absolutely disgusting. I'm pretty sure that any food inspection agency would not approve of this technique. He argued with me. Another patron spoke up and agreed with me. I left with no food no refund and now I'm late for my son's basketball game. Do not go here they are gross have zero customer service skills and are just outright rude.
To this owner: fix your POS system. Fix your receipt printing process. You shouldn't be allowing the store to do this but they were obviously taught this. It is not safe and I will be reporting this to the proper agency. And please send me my refund.

Whenever I get my food delivered there is always something wrong with it. Today I ordered my sandwich with Baja chipotle sauce but my sandwich had Sriracha sauce (plus it had no steak which I understand was the door dasher(Lucy N) that was responsible. I can’t eat spicy food because of my health condition, my fiancé insisted we went down there to get it remade and a refund. I understood they could not do the refund because it was through DoorDash on Subways app but would have appreciated it if they remade the sandwich for me because they did make it wrong.
I just left Subway after standing and waiting in line for over fifteen minutes with my son.. I came in and saw there was only one person working. She was cashing someone out and there were two people ahead of me. I understood that there was going to be a wait and the poor woman was working alone....
I waited very patiently for well over fifteen minutes. During finishing up the second order ahead of me, another person came into the store.
Instead of addressing me at all she started talking to the other customer and asking her if she was getting her regular. Then proceeded to make her her sandwich...
I wasn't even addressed to be informed if this was an online order, that I'd be helped in a moment. Nothing was even said to me... I waited a minute or two to see if this would be addressed... Nothing was said and she started talking to the other customer. Instead of causing a scene I just got me and my son and left the store...
Worst customer service I have ever experienced... It a Monday evening around dinner time. You'd think they would schedule more then one person to work. And maybe address your customers who have been waiting in line for over fifteen minutes before taking on the customer that just walked in the door.
I ordered online and when I arrived to pick my items up. They were out of most vegetables,along with roast beef the person behind the counter apologized a bunch and was very nice,she was the only one working and truthfully the management should be ashamed of there failure to provide help to there staff when needed.
I stopped in to grab some subs for dinner. The man working was all by himself. This man had amazing customer service, the subs were delicious. He apologized to the customers for the wait, because he was alone. Didn't really have to wait to long at all, because he was great at his job. This man deserves a pay raise, he is one great worker. I wish I asked his name. Great job. I will be definitely go back to that Subway from now on. I hope you see this, your a great employee and I appreciated the great customer service and the yummy subs. Thank you.
