We had some fabulous brisket at Flanders bay BBQ tonight! it was so tender. Definitely would go back.

Blown away with the level of BBQ. I expected to leave thinking of Lobster Rolls, but the smoked sausage, tender brisket, and pulled pork were out of this world. The spit is roadside to #1, with beautiful views, plenty of seating, and fun yard games. This is a must-stop-by spot if you are East of Ellsworth!
I went on a Sunday for a take-out , I had the pulled pork sandwich with the beans and corn bread, very quick service and the food was excellent, I plan on trying the platter with the beans and corn bread this Friday ,can't wait

We loved the food so much, that we ate there two days in a row. On the first night we enjoyed the three meat platters and on the second one we choose sandwiches. The ham and the chicken was good enough, but the brisket and the pulled pork was nothing short of excellent. The staff was very friendly too, some really recommend this place.

Awesome BBQ! We did a sample platter with ham, chicken and brisket, and some ribs. All of them, *chefs kiss*... You almost don't expect BBQ this fantastic so far north. The "mud" sauce blew our minds! Great views, and an easy stop if you're passing through the area. We had a chef in our group and he was impressed, so I'm not just blowing smoke up your....barbeque?. also, after stuffing your face with seafood for days, this place really hits the spot.

We stumbled across this restaurant on our way back from Bar Harbor. I am so glad that we did! The food was amazing, everything we had was delicious. Cole Slaw was the best I have ever had. We had the chicken and pulled pork, the mud sauce was delicious. Ended the meal with the blueberry cobbler, definitely add the ice cream. The views from our picnic table were gorgeous, service was great and so friendly. We are staying in Maine for 10 days and will definitely be back before we leave.
