Ordered a pint of fried clams the portion was half of what I have gotten at other restaurants like the red barn in Augusta and reds in Wiscasset the clams were only half coated and were soggy for $26 dollars I felt ripped off I have worked at restaurants and seafood ones especially across the state avoid this place I will never go back

Normally you always find something to like about a place, either food or service but didn’t have the best experience overall tonight. I placed and paid for an order online tonight for my Husband and myself. It said when it would be ready, we arrived 10 minutes later. When I went up to the window they had my drink order which I did a separate order after our food because I forgot to order together. The girl at the counter said their printer had run out of ink so they had just gotten my food order, which made no sense, again since i ordered the food first. I was told I would have to wait as there were now orders ahead of mine. I was offered ice cream, why would I want ice cream when I ordered meals?? I said no I'll just take an extra drink. The cheeseburger was more of a frozen half cooked Bubba Burger. and the middle was raw, no seasoning, not what I expected but maybe that’s just how they cook their burgers here? Shrimp dinner was a good price for the area but not that much shrimp or onion rings, pictures online look a lot better than what we were served. The shrimp was also very tough, like they were already pre cooked and then fried. The fried pickles were disgusting, no seasoning and soggy. I got a roll with my shrimp dinner with no butter, I returned to the window to ask for butter and was given melted butter, three times I had to explain I didn't want melted butter for my roll. Again, didn’t look like any pictures we saw. Wouldn’t recommend. I miss the old owners for sure. These new owners have no idea how to treat customers. After the attitude I got from stepping up to the window until the butter incident I wouldn't even go try to talk to them. Very unfriendly and seemingly uncaring. We spent over 50.00 there tonight to just throw it in the trash. Very very disappointed with a place that we used to love! I wish that we could get the old owners back. Had to go get other food somewhere else after and spend another 50 to get something worth eating and enjoying!

We visited the Takeout and ordered a pup cup and 2 medium twist ice creams in dishes. Pup cup was great, but medium dishes were half full. Each was less than 3/4 cup or a small size cone. When I asked, he said that was a medium size. No. Simply No. And finally, my order came to $13.50. I gave the young man $20. He gave me back $6 even. So, in the grand scheme of things, .50 is no big deal - not enough to grouse about - but more than enough to remind me never to stop there again.

Stopped by for Sunday super and Polly Bean’s were perfect. The wife had a tasty shrimp salad. We had a great dinner topped off with ice cream. Thank you!

Kid-friendliness: They have a tote with kid’s toys in the corner for the kids to play with.

Yummy Fish N Chips today. Onion rings are delicious! I had the cutest sweetest server named Cheyenne!

We stopped for dinner at Tracey's at suggestion of folks who have lived in Maine a fair amount of time. 1st night food was amazing, lobster rolls perfect and hot fries. Second night at dinner service lobster rolls were still on point, but my husband's order of fried clams the batter was still gooey on almost 1/3 of them so he couldn't finish them. Also the fries were hardly done and still crunchy in the middle. Definitely make the drive away from Bar Harbor for lobster rolls here!! Good quality lobster at good prices.

We visited Schoodic Woods Campground in Acadia and it was my first time in Maine so I wanted to try the much spoken of “Lobster Roll”. I got the 2 lobster rolls for $24, warm with butter which came with chips. My wife got the Cheeseburger ($8) and a small onion rings ($4). We enjoyed our food and would come again. Had she known the onion rings were going to be so stringy, she wouldn’t have ordered them. All in all, it was a great experience.

I love Tracey’s! The new owners are doing so much hard work to excel! It’s awesome that they are staying open all winter! Their haddock is amazing, the lobster dinner provides more sides with dinner roll than anywhere else and they consistently offer the best price anywhere for great lobster rolls with chips! Thank you Tracey’s for not price gouging like many do and for your fresh caught lobsters always ready in minutes! I send my airbnb guests here their first night stay and they are always thrilled. Simple style but traditional Maine experience provided by concerned local lobster family!

Worst coleslaw I ever tasted. One scoop of ice cream cost $4.00, 2 scoops of ice cream cost $6.00. So we ordered 2 scoops and asked for an extra spoon. On our bill was a charge of $.75 for a plastic spoon. We asked the waitress and she basically told us they don’t get them free so they have to charge for them. Seriously. Waitresses need to let customers know when there is an up charge. I know it was only $.75 but these spoons cost $22.08 for 1000 of them at Walmart. Way to gouge your customers. Shame on you.

Nothing fancy about this place but that's ok. You can order all items from a takeout window or go in and sit in the very simple but clean dining room. The food was delicious. We will go back.

Had lobster rolls last night at Traceys. They were perfect we had them hot with butter. We went to Bar Harbour today, lobster roll wasn't even close to as good as Traceys and it was twice as much! Luckily we are staying close by and will be back tonight!

Truly a diamond in the rough! Completely unassuming appearance and some of the best food we had in our week vacation in Maine. Save room for the homemade pie and ice cream!
