Excellent discovery driving backroads from Freeport to Camden. Best brisket we have ever had...coming from the South and California we have tried quite a bit along the way. Portions are generous, servers are very friendly and interested in ensuring your experience is a good one. Great beer list, many on tap. Fun menu.

We stopped here while traveling from Portland to Acadia because my wife was getting to that point where if she were in a Snickers commercial, she'd be played by the Velociraptor from the first Jurassic Park movie (clever girl....) I basically pulled over at the first town we saw which was beautiful Union. A little off the beaten path from Camden, but well worth the detour. Provides delicious meals of all different styles, from spring rolls to the head chef's famous mac and cheese. The employees' warm and down-to-earth demeanors complete the eating experience, bringing out a wholesome appreciation of good and simple country dining in even the most dedicated urbanites who might wander in.
