We've been a few times winter 2022/2023 and had excellent food and service. The haddock is super fresh and some of the best I've had. Way better than several other nearby establishments.

Went yesterday (1/20/23) for breakfast, ordered a coffee had a sip was old, my son ordered an orange juice and was rancid. We told waitress and decided to leave before ordering food and she still charged us for the coffee and didn’t even have the decency to apologize. The past year service has been bad and they always are out of basically 1/2 the menu items…..disappointing

I do not like to write poor reviews. Nonetheless, my title tells the story. My wife and I arrived and waited just a few minutes for a table. We were seated and nothing happened for several minutes. The dining room has 30 to 40 seats. I had noted a post on the entry door that they were not accepting credit cards - no explanation. Anyway, there was one overworked waitress/ Just one. She bussed, did the setups and waited on the tables. One waitress, 30 to 40 customers. We did get menus after several minutes. Eventually we got our food, From the time we had entered the restaurant until that moment was at least 1/2 hour. The good news is that the food was very good although my wife had to fetch the silverware to stir her coffee.. The overworked waitress wrote the orders on a pad and added the total bill manually. She also took our payment. I will give the operation credit for possibly being understaffed. They certainly were. Perhaps they should rope off some tables to hep the poor waitress by limiting the number of customers. I also seem to remember on a much earlier visit that they were unable to take credit cards. Wow !!!
DON'T GO. Terrible experience. There was 8 of us. Our food came out 3 to 5 minutes apart. The 1st 2 people where done eating when the last plate came out. The ketchup went from our table to someone else and back to us. There wasn't any corn beef hash. To top it all off I had a hair in my home fries. I'll never go back and I definitely won't recommend it to anyone. I shouldn't even given it 1 star
