Sterlingtown Bakehouse is one of those places that instantly makes you want to stay longer than you planned. We both ordered maple lattes with oat milk and they were absolutely delicious — perfectly balanced, lightly sweet, and really comforting without being overpowering. You could taste the quality of the coffee underneath the maple, which is always a good sign.
The service was genuinely great — friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being rushed. On top of that, the inside is incredibly cute and cozy, almost straight out of a Hallmark movie. It’s the kind of place that makes a simple coffee stop feel like a whole little experience. If you’re anywhere nearby in Maine, this is a must-stop.

We have tried several times to embrace and support this local bakery and every time we are disappointed. The croissants are stale. The blueberry muffin tastes like it came from Hannaford. I doubt they make these on the premises.They are $4 each. Nope. I did have a good breakfast sandwich there once.
