Went to have lunch on opening day of Lilias Cuban Cafe at Korean Dad’s and it was everything we needed and more! Solid Cuban food in Bangor that we will drive up for whenever possible! Definitely worth checking out!

It's so nice to see this concept that Korean Dad has started to bring in more diverse foods. I've been coming back over and over again because I feel like I'm getting a piece of a country I've been meaning to visit for quite some time now. Their Bulgogi, Kdogs, kimchi, Jjapaguri, everything is just so wholesome and delicious. The owners are so kind and I truly appreciate how they spread love through their culinary arts.

Incredibly good food. I could eat the fried seaweed spring rolls every day of my life and never get tired of them.
This place is wonderful!! The owners were friendly and accommodating (order ahead of time, they have limited supplies) and each dish was incredible. Don’t skip dessert!

Sweet potato noodle dish was SO delicious - great textures and flavors. Beef bulgogi - YUM. Really loved the perfectly cooked veggies in each. And the dumplings were so crisp and flavorful! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I've ordered from Korean Dad once, so far. I ordered tteokbokki, beef bulgogi with rice and red bean donuts. The tteokbokki was delicious and doesn't skimp on the heat. The bulgogi was savory and good and the donuts had a nice filling, not too sweet, and a great texture, chewy and crispy. I'll definately order again and encourage anyone else looking for something outside the usual New England fare available throughout Maine, order from Korean Dad.

Today, I tried the sweet potato noodles (Holiday Japache) with a side of Kimchi and Pickled Daikon. I was so pleased. I had only tried Japache once before when a friend made it homemade, and it was just how I remembered. The best textured, al dented noodles ever! They are very accommodating. I was able to order my food without carrots, and was warned about possible cross contact, but I don't have that type of allergy. So was not a concern, but it's great that they are so careful as some do. The sides were also very tasty. If you like your food very spicy, you may want to ask for chili sauce or something on the side. The kimchi was not as spicy as most that I've tried, but it was very yummy, and just right for me today :-)!
