Food truck on water front in Vinalhaven.Family run, great service and food you expect from a food truck. Often a line. Two picnic tables. Walking distance to town or ferry

Neat little spot a few steps from the ferry and lobster pound/dock. Very tasty lobster roll that I wished would have been bigger. $20 not bad for a lobster roll (on hot dog bun). Onion rings were great too. Customer service could be a little more friendly.

Great spot overlooking the water. Right next door to the ferry and the co-op where you get your lobsters fresh. Good lobster roll. Great view. Liners are from the co-op next door. Props to them.

If this spot is not pure, unadulterated, home-grown Vinalhaven, I don't know what is. A red food trailer in a dirt parking lot next to the Fisherman's Co-op and stacks of lobster gear on a working waterfront. This place (if you can call it a place) sports zero pretense, no Instagram influencer nonsense, no fashion products to promote, in fact no self-promotion is in evidence here. It's just real people serving serving real people. And the food: the crab roll (and a BLT version thereof) is all that a crab roll should be. The (probably frozen) burgers are great - especially the cowboy version! And the fries are the best on the island. Even bags of barbecue potato chips taste fantastic when eaten in the open air on a picnic table overlooking the harbor. This is local, connected dining - while maybe none of their products are produced locally (I might be wrong here, but that's not the point), Greet's is the very definition of terrior in the sense that the restaurant reflects the locale in every detail and sense.

The food was great, but give yourself plenty of time to order and wait for your food....and hold on to your wallet! Pretty expensive to pay $20 for a lobster roll when they are only paying the lobster fisherman $3 a pound to catch and deliver them.

Great lobster rolls! Highly recommend. Apparently there's a shortage of crabs so there were no crab rolls when we went.

Great little place, long line but worth it. Cowboy burger and large fries are good deal. Lobster BLT will set you back but delicious.

Really good lobster roll. Can’t get any fresher than lobster on Vinalhaven. Limited hours and long lines, so be prepared to wait. But it’s worth it. We also had a crab sandwich, which was good, but in limited supply.

I visited vinyl haven for 5 days in July. In July. Was told to try this food truck for lobster rolls. They were as good as advertised. For a small food truck there's a large selection of food. The fancy fries, which are really just parmesan seasoned fries, are really great. However the line is very long from the minute they open and they're only open for 3 hours a day a few days a week. So get here early and give yourself lots of time. Crab melt was pretty tasty too.
