Bullwinkle's Steak House

We have eaten at Bullwinkles for 2+ decades. Over the past decade, it has been hit or miss. I think today was the lowest. Came for Father’s Day Linner… waited a while to see a waitress, was asked “what can I get you” (not beginning with an introduction, asking for drinks and appetizers, or explaining specials or anything). So we gave her our entire order from drinks, to appetizers, to meals. She came back with the beverages, dropping and spilling a whole glass of soda on the Dad. Never apologized or offered compensation, and had to be asked for, and reminded to get, enough napkins for US to clean it up. It appeared a though the replacement soda was poured into the same glass with the duty ice cubes went into too. Food took forever to get and, aside from our son’s steak, was poor quality or incorrect. By the end, still no apology or compensation offered. All the while, our guest of honor sat cold, wet, and sticky from bathing in soda. Horrible experience and probably the last time we will go there.

Great service staff and great food in a comfortable surrounding!

First time here. Our server was fantastic. I think her name was Sharity. She was very pleasant. However, there was another server that miserably greeted and seated us. She never even smiled at the people she was serving. Otherwise we will return. Everything else, food and atmosphere were great.

Loved!!! We were traveling the East Coast, had our fill of fish and we were craving steaks. So glad we chose this restaurant. I had the NY Strip with garlic parmesan sauce, mashed potatoes and roasted corn. My hubby had the King cut Prime Rib, baked potato and roasted corn. My mouth is watering just thinking about how delicious it was. Our server was top notch, great atmosphere. A must go to place!

Took our family out to dinner and had the best steak, scallops, and haddock! Edit, 6 years later: still amazing, if not better. The steak tips are incredible and the service is the best. And we heard at least three other tables saying how delicious their food was, too!

I have had some of the best dumplings in the world - in NYC, Singapore, Manila and more - and I can say with certainty that the dumplings here are high on that list.

And, every other item on their menu is made at the same high standard of quality. From the burgers, to the chicken, to the classic New England style brown bread, I havent had anything I didnt love (okay, maybe the pizza, its fine) and if I had to chose one restaurant to spend the rest of my life eating at, I think it would be this one.

A clean and kind-staffed restaurant with good food, but the food is very slow coming out. With little kids, it was tough to wait an hour+ for food. We went two different times and as early as 4 pm, but staffing seemed low for the amount of people. The food was delicious, just a long wait for families.

Kid-friendliness: Menu is kid friendly, but the wait time for food is not.

Well not impressed with this place always wanted to try it but tonight I was very disappointed had crab melt and fries, well to say the least the sandwich was cold got about 10 fries for 21 dollars well this was the first and last time for me good luck to the place

The timing from order to food was perfection and the waitress knew how to waitress, we didn't wait for drinks and she was very pleasant. The coleslaw tasted good, the mashed potatoes were exactly what I expected, and the steak was great. The BBQ pulled pork was delectable and the fries didn't need ketchup. I will definitely be going back.

Awesome rib eye steak cooked to perfection ,Caesar salad and really hot baked potato. Great service from our waitress Gina ? very pleasant!! We will definitely go back ?
