The food was delicious and the staff were pretty friendly. My biggest complaint was how long it took to get our food after we ordered. We were immediately sat and we immediately ordered and it took almost an hour to get our meals. Still good food and nice service. Just know that it might be a bit of a wait for your meal.

Updated review. Have always been a huge fan and supporter. Tonight changed all of that. Placed a takeout order, was given a 30min pick up. I showed up at 30 min. I proceed to wait for 30 more min. There was 5 tables in the dining room. Then they charged me $1.08 for butter. Thats fine, was looking forward to a great meal. That did not happen. I ordered the pork chop special with bacon Jam. The pork chop was burnt and cold. The "bacon jam" was bbq sauce that had way way to much liquid smoke and no bacon. The broccolini that came with was also completely cold and 2 spears of broccoli , not broccolini. The highlight of the meal was the actually hot baked potato. Super disappointed. And Hungry. Have photos. Not an option to add ?

I was a bit concerned about some of the negative reviews I had been seeing, but I have no idea what they were talking about. We had a short wait on a Saturday at 5:00. We were seated by a friendly hostess/waitress. Our server was Charity, who was great. Our drink orders were taken and delivered in record time. Our food came out at good intervals. Everything was served at proper temperatures. All our food was incredibly delicious. The seafood chowder was so good, with scallops, shrimp, pieces of fish, and nicely sized chunks of potatoes. Our salads were crisp and fresh. The bread with whipped butter was very nice. We each got the prime rib with mashed potatoes and gravy. My Queen cut was just a bit thinner than the King. The meat was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and melt in the mouth tender. The mashed potatoes and gravy were the perfect accompaniment. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely two thumbs up ?Parking: Plenty of free parking

Visiting from Ohio. Stopped in on a whim. It was about 7 pm. First off lady who greeted us looked at us as if we had the plaque. Very sour face and not pleasant. We were seated, she came back, same friendly gal....took our order and we waited almost an hour for our food. Never once did she stop by to check on us, let us know why the long wait. The place was not crowded, we only ordered sandwiches with fries. Nothing special. We has hoped to go back later in the week and enjoy a nice steak dinner. But if it took an hour to get sandwiches can't imagine how long a full dinner item will take. I strongly do not recommend, staff not friendly and you can starve before your food arrives

The waitress was awesome. The food came out fairly quickly and they were packed and had people waiting to get a table. We have been there multiple times now and it seems like it is our “regular” go to place for a good meal.

Bullwinkle's is not five star dining with well known chefs. It is good food, that is very consistent. Every visit has proved this to us again and again. Never had a bad meal. Always appreciate the servers and enjoy our meal

Stopped by for dinner as we saw the sign on the side of the road. Very local and fun atmosphere. The food was adequate, not great. I ordered a ribeye and not sure that's what I got. It had very little taste and didn't look like the ribeye I'm accustomed to, especially for that price.. It was bland and luke warm and didn't appear to have been put in a grill. My husband got the blue cheese crusted NY Strip. He thought it was it was ok. I tasted it and it had 10x the taste my ribeye did. He ordered hot wings and they weren't hot at all. I can see why locals come here because there aren't any steak houses around. Service was lovely.
