Laura Cabot catered my daughter's wedding in Cape Elizabeth over the summer, and it was over the top, fantastic food, presentation and service. The passed appetizers (including lobster rolls, Maine coast specialties and finger foods) and charcuterie on trays were exquisite, and the cocktail hour was followed by a fabulous dinner. The main courses were among the best I've had at local weddings, all with fresh local vegetable sides and a tossed garden salad dressed with Laura's secret recipe. You need to try it to believe it. Working with Laura was a pleasure: she is professional and an artist with her preparations. It's no surprise that she's been among the best in the coastal Maine catering business for many years.

LCC catered our wedding and while the food was tasty and there certainly was nothing wrong with it, working with Larua was stressful and frustrating. There were many misscommunications and a strong lack of communication at times. Not only us but our parents and day of coordinator had a very hard time either getting ahold of Larua, or getting solid answers to our questions. This led to much more pre wedding stress and work on our end. On the day of our event, the staff showed up poorly prepped as to our plans and wishes, and the bar tender was quite rude to myself and several of our guests. All in all the stress and effort were definitely not worth the investment nor the return. We certainly would not reccommend LCC.
