This place exceeded my expectations!!! So much more inside this shop. We all know about their amazing Kraut and pickles, but their homemade pastrami is like heaven in my mouth. The fact that I was able to sample not only the pastrami but also some of the most amazing cheeses I ever tasted made my day! I will be traveling back for cheese and pastrami frequently!
This place shouldn’t exist but it does and it’s a gem that is worth a side trip. Amazing selection of wines, cheeses, meats, and lacto-fermented goodness. Foodies should run, not walk to this place. You will be rewarded … it’s like the field of dreams of the deli/grocery world!
We meant to go to this place and finally made it. What a great place! It reminds me of Southern Seasons in Chapel Hill, NC, but with a European twist. They have an eclectic selection of international foods, including deli meats, cheeses, sauerkraut, and pickles. I am not a big beer and wine guy, but they have a good selection. I highly recommend going to this out-of-the-way gourmet store.
