I knew instantly when I stepped into the Narrows Tavern on a Saturday evening at about 8:00pm that something was definately wrong. During the off season it usually was hopping with a friendly crowd and sometimes live music at this time of day. Instead, there was no-one at the bar and only one table occupied with a single diner. so it was only our second time in but the service was wonderful. food was okay had heard good things so we gave it a go. it seemed rushed and just okay but I'm not complaining, what was lacking in the food department was definitely made up for by the service, we will give it a go again and hope for a better delivery. everyone has an off night.
I had the fisherman’s platter this past weekend. The full belly clams were perfect. Always a pleasure to visit.
