Stopped.for lunch going to and returning from Quebec City. Pulled pork and pulled chicken excellent. Fries superior. Service was very good given a Saturday lunch crowd and limited crew. Will plan northern trips to make sure we are here at meal time!!!

Dietary restrictions: Had GF buns to go with excellent burgers.

Great food between hikes to chase waterfalls. Beer was pretty decent and the burgers were solid. Unsung hero was the Maple Bacon BBQ sauce.

Restaurant in the middle of Maine, we were struck by the sight and we stopped: we did well!
We ate very well, generous portions and moderate prices. Excellent service. Clean bathrooms.
The place is furnished with lots of wood and a magical atmosphere is felt everywhere.
I recommend to everyone!

Glad it was me. I give a lot of credit to people who work in the food industry. It's tough and unforgiving.

I want to start with the parking: Weird to have a campground/adventure park/ rental shop/ arcade/ bar+restaurant. But a money maker for sure. Had to park at the back, near campground and had no marked path to the restaurant. Had to walk through the back, across the patio, pool deck and through the bar to get a hostess.

Service: Lackluster. Seemed slightly new maybe poorly trained. We sat for 30mins before being asked about drinks. She told us the kitchen was backed up so we got an app (we didn't plan on). She never check up on us throughout our meal. Our food came out quickly which was a surprise. We then ate (15mins) and waited for our check (20+mins). Ended up approaching the hostess stand to process payment.

Food: I was very disappointed. I ordered a bacon wrapped meatloaf with mashed potatoes and seasonal veg. The Meatloaf lacked seasoning. Seemed like a lower quality cut of beef (used in chili's) and had large chunks of red bell pepper. Mash had 0 flavor (normally should have salt and/or butter). Gravy was okay? Seemed like a packet gravy. Seasonal veg was green beans with 0 flavor. Had minced garlic and oil but no salt or butter again. The oil overpowered the garlic and it got lost.

Decor: Dusty plastic plants and hunting trophies. The dessert menu on the tables were dusty. Dead bugs in the windows and webbed. Had a couple black jacks (bees) near us. The relentless flies were tough as well. Could be better kept but hiring is tough right now.

We had fried mozz bites and they were wicked good! Marinara sauce was killer.

I would not go back but please don't let my experience deter you from exploring and trying new places! Atmosphere was cool inside with pool tables and bar. They also had a little gift shop. Staff was friendly and courteous.

Parking: Park at the front if possible!

Food was not bad, steak fries were very good. However service was awful, and the attitude that came with it. Hardly anybody in there, and lady said she’d be with us in a minute and dropped water off on the table.. one of the cups was very dirty which I didn’t even get a chance to tell her because she disappeared. She walked away and said she’d be back in a minute.. 30+ minutes later she came over and asked what we wanted. She didn’t even ask about beer.. soda.. nothing. When a soda was requested she seemed so annoyed. 20 minutes later the food came out, and the waitress never returned.. not even to ask how the food was, or about refills etc. When finally got her attention for a refill on drinks, she seemed so bothered that we had asked for refills. Had to get up to ask a gentleman about the bill to pay, as she disappeared again and mentioned to him I was dissatisfied with the service and as soon as our server walked up he turned around and walked away real quick to get out of the situation. When server said “oh i didn’t know you were ready for your bill you should’ve told me when I got your refill” i felt like saying you never even looked in our direction hardly the whole time we were there and treated us as if we were a bother that you had to be there to wait on us.. that is your job as a server.. I’ve been to plenty of places with bad service.. but this one takes the cake out in the middle of no where and the only place open up there on a Sunday I would’ve expected it to be good. We paid and left, will not be returning!

Nice place. Good food, lots of games to play (corn hole, billard, pool, hot tub, and more). I had the hiker burger and it was very good and satisfying. Thank you!

You have a new great new bartender. Oakley was a great person for you to hire. Nothing but a great atmosphere with him behind the bar. Was only his second or third day. But you could see a genuine hard worker. Would recommend you go meet this young man. Wish more had his work ethic like him. Our youth is sad. ?

We regularly travel from Australia to New England. This last trip we decided to drive up to Quebec City. Kennebec River Brewery was a perfect stop for a meal, beer and some ambiance. When we planned the drive we added the brewery as a stop and we were very happy with the choice...lovely people, great food :-)

Dietary restrictions: My wife is a Coeliac (gluten intolerant) and Kennebec River Brewery had good options for her to eat.
