Great breakfast! The toast was delicious and the service was exceptional. Love the kid book nook, it made our breakfast experience soooo much more enjoyable. Would recommend and will definitely be back!

Got upset that the tip wasnāt high enough. To add more detail. The owner or manager came out to the parking lot and confronted us about not leaving a tip.first of all Bally move. To clarify the waiter was sweet but never came to check on if everything was cooked all right nor can to refill any beverages. After they confronted us, we went back inside and got they upset that we did not tip which by the way is a Privilege not a requirement. After that we then did give a cash tip and they got upset that a $10 tip was not high enough. In my opinion if you want to harassed them about not giving a tip and they give you a tip, Do not complain that it is not a high enough tip. It also wouldāve been in advised to inform that there is a up charge for a large party. And before you come at me saying I have no idea what Iām talking about I do Iāve worked in the The food industry Iām not saying that you should never leave a tip, I am saying if you want customers to come back, do not harass them about leaving a tip when another member of the party tipped high enough to cover their lack of a tip.

I can't deny the service in this place. It's a bit slow, but you can tell the staff does work hard.
however, I don't think we'll go back, unfortunately. Which bums us out because we LOVE supporting local places and were super excited to have a place like this in town.
My main concern was with the food. My husband and I have eaten here twice with our girls and both times.... well, we got sick. The second time WAY worse than the first. We each have gotten omlettes and they go down fine.... but they make a sudden reappearance about 2 hours later.
Friends of ours have also said they've gotten sick after having breakfast at Brea Lu. :-(

We were in town for a wedding, passing through on our way to our weekend lodging. What a welcome breakfast spot after traveling for we'll over 20 hours. The Hawaiian omelet was a great culinary adventure.
A great brunch! Had the huge blueberry pancake! Great service !

The breakfast potatoes weren't good at all and the coffee was reported as not good. Otherwise the food was ok. Kind of pricey for the quality of food. I would try again to see if lunch food was better.

Horrible experience. Waited 30 minuets just for drinks. Finally put in an order but waited over an hour for food. Other tables around us got their food but the wait was didnāt even acknowledge us. Finally after an hour and 30 minuets we went to the hostess to pay for our drinks and leave. Waitress came over and charged us for drinks didnāt comp anything and even included a 20% tip with out asking. Waitress didnāt apologize and complained to her co workers about how she djed until 2 in the morning the night prior. Dreadful experience we will never be back. Way too many good breakfast spots to waste our time at brea Lu.

If I could leave -stars I would. My family was visiting this weekend and we waited an hour for drinks and never got our food. We ended up leaving waiting an hour and half. The waitress included her own tip in the bill but did nothing to earn the tip as someone else ended up bringing our drinks. As we were leaving the server rolled their eyes and grumbled under their breath.
