We are new to Gorham and this was the closest place to us. My son and I love combination dinners and we’re looking forward to trying this. The chicken wings and chicken fingers were good. The beef and chicken teriyaki were so tough and dry I could barely get them off the stick. The rice was dry and a very small portion. The boneless ribs were also extremely dry and tough to chew. I don’t know what was inside the egg roll but it did not taste good at all. Bottom line is overcooked and dry.

They now, after ordering delivery for over 4 years. I tried to order tonight to find they now use a calling center to order and place your orders ? was treated poorly and they didn’t have my information on file at the call center like the restaurant does so I have to give it every time I order now ? and again……. No friendly person at the actual restaurant ? just a call center person working on Commission. No longer a business I want to do business with I will go elsewhere!!! Very disappointed! ?

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with China Villa in Westbrook. It was my first time ordering from them, and when we politely asked if we could get beef fried rice instead of white rice, the staff member on the phone became aggressive and started yelling at us, insisting we had called the wrong restaurant (which we hadn't). When we asked to speak to the manager, she also yelled at us, repeating that we had called the wrong place and that they don’t do substitutions. If they had told us politely, we would have understood, but the way they handled it was completely unprofessional. What was even more shocking is that they went so far as to use racial slurs, saying, "You white people always do that." The whole experience was extremely rude and upsetting.

I recently had a terrible experience ordering from China Villa on Main Street in Westbrook. The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful. When I asked about substituting fried rice for white rice, she became defensive and accused me of not knowing what I was talking about. The manager was equally unhelpful, defending the employee's harsh tone and blaming me for the misunderstanding.
I was so shocked by their attitude that I decided to cancel my order. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Their poor customer service is completely unacceptable.

The Singapore Mei Fun (with extra curry) was fantastic, lots of shrimp, pork, chicken, and eggs. The veggies were crisp and fresh. And they came through with my request for extra curry. Generous portion size too.

While not a gourmet place, if you choose your items carefully the taste is quite good. I recommend the Hot and Sour Soup,Roast Pork Noodles, and the Tofu dishes. Some dishes are overly americanized but ive found a few I like and I go back for. Also note, this is NOT a restaurant to go out and dine at. The interior "ambiance" is just awful. Take out only.
I always used to love the food here, but the last 2 times I've been disappointed with my meals. Kung Pau Chicken tasted like fish...ugh...I was really looking forward to my meal, but it tasted so bad I ended up throwing it away. First time I have ever thrown away Chinese food.
