I want to share my experience with Cowbell in Westbrook because it has been disappointing from start to finish.
On Trivia Night, I came with 5 friends. Everyone’s food arrived except mine — my wings took 15 minutes longer, and by the time they came out my friends were already done eating. When I voiced my frustration, the service manager didn’t apologize or offer any gesture to make up for the failure.
After I posted a Google review, Cowbell management replied publicly, apologizing and asking me to email them so they could “make it right.” I did exactly that, attaching my receipt and explaining the situation. The district manager, Travis Sanipas, responded on November 28 saying he would “look into it and get back to me.”
It’s now been well over a week, and despite a polite follow‑up email, I’ve received no update, no apology, and no resolution.
The original service was bad, the public response promised accountability, and the district manager’s reply led nowhere. This is disappointing all the way around — not just poor service, but poor follow‑through when a customer tries to give them a chance to fix it.

Great spot. Great server. The burgers were dry and my chicken was dry. My daughter lives burgers. She only ate half and didn't want to bring the leftovers home. For $143 we should have gone to 5 guys!

Ordered French onion soup and it came out burnt but I still gave it a shot. All you could taste was burnt cheese. My father in law got a steak burger medium rare and im a rare guy my self but this was the mooiest moo burger I have ever seen. If I could give 0 stars I would. If you want good burgers go to the scarborough location because the cooks here are one step away from eating crayons.

Ordered apps spin dip was more like queso and chips were beyond stale.
Ordered tenders that were mush with hardly a crust for something fried.

Awesome burger and steak, but sides could use some love. THAN I received a receipt with a QR code to pay online. My waitress came over and saw me with the receipt on table right under my phone paying the bill, after I tipped the HIGHEST option her and two other MALE workers came running out after me asking if I paid. Why have a QR code on the receipt? Do I look broke ????? Is it because i’m gay? I walked out the door feeling happy and satisfied and within 1 min left feeling disrespected. The time it took to assemble a posse to run after me you could’ve had one person check the computer. Why grab two guys to come after two girls?

Here in town for business and walked over from the hotel for quick dinner. I don't know if Roxy was the closing manager, however, if she wasn't, she should be. Not only was she my server, she was the bartender, greeter, kitchen manager, and the entertainment supervisor. She was doing e everything without missing a beat and always professional.
