I grew up on longfellow street and frequented digbys for almost 20 years, it's always had legendary cheeseburger subs, a small quaint shop that's always given westbrook it's shine, I still visit the shop from time to time, driving from livermore falls
I had wanted to visit this location for many years but never took the time out to do so until April 2024. I'm not certain the draw of this location other than possibly the beverage selections available and a cheap bite to eat. There are a couple of tables w/ some chairs but this location's atmosphere is very sparce & not terribly inviting.The sandwich I had was just ok. I was warned that it would take 15 minutes to prepare and was invited to look at the premade offerings...
I've been going here since it was Corsetti's years ago and the quality of food is top notch. The gentleman working there the last time I went was superb! I will keep coming back for many more years!
