Yesterday my husband and I got food at this amatos. We live 45 minutes away and had other things to do in area. Our food was delicious. What was upsetting and took away from experience was the dining room was closed and it was 5pm on a Saturday and I guess that also means we weren’t allowed to use bathroom. We will likely return but may not order food if dining area and restrooms are closed. It’s just really challenging eating pizza and salads in the truck in winter. It’s ok though there are other pizza places in area that still allow sit down. Hoping our next visit we are allowed to eat inside.

we stopped going to the place in Windham for awhile because either our order was wrong or something was missing. we tried again tonight and the same thing happened again. would like to support a local business but never again for this place. the place has gone down hill when it comes to customer service.

Nothing gourmet, but cheap and cheerful local traditional hearty food.

Our catering order today was excellent, as it has been other times for our employee lunches. Thank you to the team there! ⭐️

Has the Windham store come under new management?

I went here today and also last week after not eating there for a few months. I always get two dozen hot wings because this location has always made them crispy. No other Amato’s I’ve been to can get the wings right the way this store does.

However, after going twice in the last two weeks, the wings have been pathetically small. Every single wing was no bigger than my pinky or the tip of my thumb. I was charged the regular price for what is, in reality, far less chicken meat.

At first, I thought maybe it was just a fluke—sometimes stock issues happen. But I ordered another two dozen today and it was the exact same thing: all small, TINY wings.

I also usually get the buttercup pudding when it’s available. It’s typically smooth, thick, and very good. What I got today was extremely watery and inconsistent. It honestly looked like vomit—clumpy and completely off from what it normally is.

What’s happening to this place? I’ve spent several thousand dollars here over the last 3 years because I liked the wings that much, but now I’m really not so sure.

We called in an order for 2 Italian Sandwiches with no onions or oil. Both sandwiches had onions and no pickles. They just don't listen!

IN WINDHAM ME…. One section only to order, to pick up, and waiting to have your name called. Meanwhile, people walking in to buy a soda go right ahead of you. It’s not even controlled chaos. Also management allows cashiers to ask for tips. Apparently Amatos can’t pay their staff well enough. Confusing and hectic and definitely not going back to that mess.
