Yesterday my husband and I got food at this amatos. We live 45 minutes away and had other things to do in area. Our food was delicious. What was upsetting and took away from experience was the dining room was closed and it was 5pm on a Saturday and I guess that also means we weren’t allowed to use bathroom. A friend referred me here to get the Italian sub. I ordered an Italian and it was ham only. My mistake for not looking at the ingredients but who calls a ham sandwich an original Italian. That's not the reason for 3 stars. I paid quite a bit of money to have two slices of ham only. It was loaded with veggies that were delicious but thats all i could taste. Hands down Amato's sour pickles are in a league of their own. Obviously the food is good, Italians are always good and we tried their cheese/ham stuffers also delicious. Great to-go lunch place ?
