First i walked in and not acknowledged waited for a bit to be asked to be helped. Got my food wrong the first time and when i got home the chicken tasted like it was cooked in fish fryer. My wife’s order was not redone in fact when I looked at it they put the old food on too of fresh fries and added a tiny bit of tomatoes. $30 for two meals and it ruined our night to have to throw it away. We definitely need to be reimbursed for this!

Been coming here for years and after the service I had I would rather drive to Westbrook and eat at that Applebees than this one in Windham ever again. Sat and ordered happy hour appetizers. Waited for my food for over an hour as soon as I asked for it to be removed from my tab as I wasn’t hungry anymore, I still got charged full price for happy hour. Had a rough day already and just wanted to end it on a good note. Thanks for nothing

If you're looking for a place where you'll be discriminated against for trying to dine with an autistic child, this is the place for you. I tried bringing my 3 children here today around 12:30 for my daughter's birthday lunch and I disclosed to the grouchy hostess that I had an autistic child with me and needed a booth. She said no problem and it would be about 15 minutes. We sat on the bench and waited while watching all other large parties be seated with multiple empty booths open. Tried to keep the 4 year old entertained as much as possible but after over an hour he was getting restless but not out of hand. When I asked if it would be much longer she huffed and rolled her eyes that she was waiting for a specific booth in the back corner to become available for us but she "guessed" could seat us now, at a table. While there are multiple empty clean booths available. You could have just said you didn't want to deal with an autistic kid and saved us both time instead of being passive aggressive and almost ruining the day for my daughter. Save your breath and keep driving to Portland if you want any type of service guys.

Thought I would take my daughter out for a birthday lunch on Sunday and we decided on Applebees Windham. Walked in, the restaurant was mostly empty, and the lady went to seat us at the table closest to the bathroom even though there were soooo many booths open. I asked her if we could have a booth. She told me no because “that section is closed”…whatever that meant I don’t know because I did not indicate a particular section, just requesting a booth. I said “well, it’s my daughter’s birthday and I would like it to be a little more special than sitting at an uncomfortable table right next to the bathroom.” (Almost the whole restaurant was open and 3 waitresses were standing by the bar. So I politely said that we would go somewhere else and we proceeded to traipse back through the restaurant and I hear the woman yell to the waitresses, “she wanted a booth.” On our way out a few more parties walked in and I thought, “there’s only 2 other tables over there and no booths, are they going to make these people wait in a mostly empty restaurant with a bunch of empty booths?” It is still a head scratcher. Anyways, thanks Applebees for giving my 14 year old the birthday only dreams are made of!!

Bartender just told me that windham PD comes into the bar, pretends to be customers and as soon as someone drinks more than 2 drinks they call in their plates.. just so everyone knows. DONT DRINK THERE. bad food anyway.

Today, I went in for dinner and the food was good, what I would expect in a restaurant like that. My plate was a little sloppy with a little bit of the coalslaw being under the fries. I would like to have had the fries a little bit more done, but that's just my taste. The waitress was nice and helped my mother and was extremely friendly. I thought the music was a bit loud, but that's more of a personal thing. I like to be able to hear the person across from me rather than the music.
Wheelchair accessibility: The outside door was hard for my mother to push open while I pushed her in her chair. If you have some there to open the doors, it's not bad.

Worst service the waitress only paid attention to one person in our party. The rest of the table got wrong food orders some didn't get food without asking another waitress to check on it some didn't get the drinks ordered. Would not recommend this restaurant at all!
