It’s honestly fascinating watching the owner here.
For someone who claims to run such a successful business, he sure spends a lot of time posting about Bret Jackson and the Outpost in Otisfield… usually three or four times a week.
What’s interesting is Bret never even mentions this place.
The Outpost has only been open about ten months… just a small lake store selling pizza… yet somehow it seems to live rent-free in this guy’s head.
Every post is carefully spun so he looks like the innocent one, but when someone is this obsessed with another business that doesn’t even acknowledge them, it usually says more about what’s going on upstairs than anything else.
I’m not telling anyone not to go here…people can make their own decisions.
But when a grown man spends that much energy talking about another pizza shop that doesn’t even talk about him…
That kind of obsession usually has a name.

I'm a HUGE pizza girl and let me tell ya this place has moved into first place with me! 👌
I am always hesitant to give a perfect score because it leaves no room in the event I happen to find better. That being said I have had New Haven Apizza in New Haven and this is definitely the best OUTSIDE of New Haven. Crispy thin crust with an amazing sauce. Ordered mine with pepperoni. It was to die for. If I had to make one criticism I would say I would have liked a little more char on the bottom but I would be nitpicking at that point. A little out of the way but so worth the drive. I can't wait to go back and try the Detroit style. Great job guys!

Love at 1st bite! 🍕🤩 1st time here! We inquired about a sicilian , but since they didn't have that we ordered ½ veggie & ½ meat pie. While we were waiting the owner came out and gave us a piece of the detroit pizza to try.... oh my God WOW! FANTASTIC! Will totally order that next time we go! When we got home we ate the pie we ordered and it was also incredible! Highly highly recommend this place‼️So delicious and such great wonderful people‼️

It’s been a minute since being in. Let’s just say because of this we haven’t had a good pizza in a while. Still just as delicious and consistent as it always was. I finally got around to trying the Detroit and it far exceeded my expectations. It may be my new favorite order! It’s also always nice to go into a place that remembers what your order is even if it’s been a while. Great people and Phenomenal Apizza/Pizza.
