I have been here numerous times the food and service has been top notch ! Today must have been an off day . Sunday 3 ish . Busy . Sat outside it was a nice day . Took forever to get an order for a beverage . Finally got beverage took forever for the app . Then we had nothing to eat the app with , like silverware . No waitstaff to be found so my guest went in and could not find anyone so he found some and got it for us . I’m not sure what was up with up with the waitress a mid age brunette . She didn’t tell us anything about specials beverages ect . She had the young woman who was bussing bring out the food and clear plates . I never got offered a refill and neither did my guest . We finally ordered dinner and I made sure to ask for salt pepper and napkins as we had none . She did not apologize for the mishap with the silverware but all the other tables didn’t have silverware either and everyone was talking about it . The food was not great either today I had the pot roast and it was cold . There was no pride in the presentation. I ate I was hungry I waited an hour for it . Turkey dinner was sold out the said . My guest had coffee . Says it was ok . I ordered a lemonade with blackberry and was charged for a mocktail . Most restaurants esp . Steak houses offer bread and butter . Not here . Asked for a roll got a basket and was charged . My guest liked them so we got a second basket . Waitress not attentive at all. Not friendly not a smile . Customer service is not her forte . What kind of tip do you expect ? I hope the buss person got it .The only thing good this visit was the bacon wrapped scallops . We get that every time. Wish there was a meal of that ! The outside could use a pick up and more attention. Dirty tables just sat there . I think I’ll give this spot a break for a while . Left a bad taste in my mouth . Literally. Not sure what’s up but please fix it . PS we never got the discount for the cash payment .

New building is horrible for eating. The noise makes a conversation impossible without shouting. Good food, servers were average.
I share this as a first time patron that recently moved to the area and was trying this establishment for the first time.
Myself and three others went out for dinner after calling and seeing what our wait time might be. We were quoted 20 minutes over the phone and headed right over to put our names on the list as you cannot place your name unless you're in person. We had no issue with this as it is industry standard. When we got there, the wait time increased to 30-40 minutes which in the 6 minutes of travel time we had could have changed circumstances for the restaurant so again, no issue with this. We were eventually seated but it was 50 minutes past the time we had gotten there which felt a little excessive.
The main problem my party and I had at this establishment was our service from our waitress. There may have been circumstances we were unaware of and I wholeheartedly acknowledge the rigors of a full house on a Saturday night, but it was the collective feeling of the table that we were being ignored by our waitress for things such as clearing away empty plates, getting refills, and overall checking in on our night. At one point in the evening she had not checked in on us within a 30 minute span of us not getting our food since ordering and our initial drinks having been depleted. Now if we had noticed her running around trying to tend everyone that's one thing, but she was lingering and chatting with multiple tables being very personable to what we figured were her regulars. We even made eye contact and waived her down a couple times to no avail. Overall just felt like we were the odd group out that she did not want to interact with.
Now after 50 minutes of waiting and another 40 minutes for our food to come out, I must say the food was good. Great even. I've been searching for a steak in the Windham area worth spending money on and this one really hit the spot. The appetizer was also good, although I recommend portion size of the appetizers would be more appropriate for groups of 2 and not to share amongst 4 (our mistake really).
When we finished our meal, we tipped 18% overall because I truly hope we misread the situation, she was having an off night, or there were circumstances beyond anyone's control. I just wrote this review to let you know our experience. We will be giving Rustler's another opportunity in the future to change our minds because the food was good but it wasn't a 2.5 hour affair with poor service good.

Close to home, Close to college. The service was better than average for 10 of us!
Holy moly this place makes some fantastic food! Stopped here to grab a bite while on the road and found this gem of a restaurant. The scallops wrapped in bacon were amazing and such a delicious sauce. My Ribeye was among the best I’ve ever eaten, I was so impressed. The waitress was wonderful herself, couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
