My sister and I discovered this place online and we were pleasantly surprised! My sister said her matcha latte was the best she’s ever had and the frozen hot chocolate was 10/10! Would 100% recommend this place to anyone! Plus it’s very cute inside!
If traveling or staying in the schoodic area this is a must stop for breakfast or a good coffee fix. Great small cafe in town a minute from the main road way around to the park. Service and ambiance was good. You can also buy other small items. I had a blueberry scone and iced latte with half and half. Iced latte was excellent. I came to the Bar Harbor area for a group trip and ventured to Winter Harbor one day. We were all eager to find a good coffee shop and Downeaster was just what we were looking for. Highly recommend!
