I went in with my cousins kiddos (3 boys). We were playing a game where you had to go through the alphabet and find an item as you're traveling which begins with that letter. We stopped there on letter Q, frantically trying to think of something... one of the boys thought of quarter and we were all excited. The women working there were so very nice to have produced a quarter for the littlest kiddo, and let him keep it.

Someone said the lobster is a bit cheaper in Maine and it's actually true so we stopped here to get some fresh ones. They steamed them for us right there. They have an excellent selection of seafood including cod, haddock, Arctic char, and more. The customer service was good too. It's worth a visit when you're in Winter Harbor.

With most of the lobster places and restaurants shut down for the winter, we searched the area until we found The Lobstore. I won't quote a price on the lobsters that we bought due to the market fluctuation but we were more than pleased with both the price and quality. We were on our last night in Maine and I would have loved to have tried the sea scallops but two 3# lobsters were all that we needed. Fast friendly service as well.
